This is it

Tails watched down below at the hedgehog. His frantic looks around. Tails held his breath and didn't move a muscle. Sonic finally walked off somewhere. Tails hopped down looking around for any possible sign of the hedgehog coming back. Tails started running a little ways away. Trying to keep his distance. He kept running along the forest until he reached a cliffside that spread across the horizon. It had to have been at least a couple miles across and it was a long stretch from his side to the other. Tails picked up a rock and dropped it over the edge watching as it tumbled into the dark abyss. He tried listening for any sound of the rock hitting something but he heard nothing. He looked to the sides wondering what to do. He went back into the woods the way he came thinking of what to do. "Can't climb, can't jump...." He thought puzzled. He was so tired and it was so dark. "I just can't think straight. He sat down to think. His head throbbed from lack of sleep. He sat there awhile letting the wind push past him. He hadn't noticed the clouds that had covered the sky threatening to rain. "Great." He said annoyed. He felt a trickle fall on his arm than a drop than before Tails knew it, it was pouring. Thunder sounded from the sky, making Tails jump. "God it's only been 10 minutes and the thunder has already started." Tails looked up for where the moon could be but there was no trace of it behind the coal-colored clouds. Tails had a hard time walking and slipped a few times in the mud making him grunt. He got up after what seemed the third time of falling. "Damn rain." He said under his breath. The wind had picked up fiercer than usual. Blowing leaves and branches into Tails's face. Tails put his hand in his face to block everything. He suddenly heard a creaking sound but couldn't look around at the source. The wind and rain kept hitting him in the face, making his face numb. He heard a crack and pop and turned around just in time to see a tree falling directly his way. He screamed as he jumped out of the way. The tree slammed down on the ground. Making Tails scream in pain. He tried getting one of his legs out from underneath the tree. Someone helped push the tree out of the way. A silhouette of a hedgehog. "Tails," Sonic said trying to grab Tails's hand. Tails got up quickly and started running. "Tails!" Sonic said yelling. Tails kept running putting as much distance between him and the hedgehog as possible.  He ran into a open area and kept running. He suddenly felt nothing below his feet. He grabbed a hold of the cliff edge. His fingers slipping. He couldn't think of what to do. He couldn't fly. He couldn't climb. "Sonic!!!" He yelled not completely sure what he was doing. "Help!" His fingers began to slip......
