he was right there.

she looked at him from her seat in the back of class as she quickly pushed her usual out of place hair back into her braid, mentally cursing herself for not being ready enough.

she cursed herself every time.

suddenly, time slowed down. a ray of sunlight fell on his soft, amaranth lips and he blinked his dazzling emerald eyes.

tristan mccowell was majestic, like a god from the greek myths.

he moved again just to rest his hand on his girlfriend's shoulder. he leaned towards her forehead, and just as he was about to kiss her, time sped up again.

she looked down to her english notebook and black pen, blinking over and over. it never got easier.

she was right there.

tristan was leaning towards his girlfriend when he swore he saw her.

she had golden hair that shone like the sun. her glasses framed her face like a picture frame on an exquisite painting being displayed in a classy museum.

he had second thoughts about if he was really in love with amy. she was there for him when he needed her, in one way more than others... but his thoughts were interrupted by the sensation of her lips on his.

the feelings never got easier to handle.

being kissed was indescribable.

he came to the conclusion that he hadn't seen her in the back of the classroom and he sat down.

he decided he was fine where he was, with his responsibilities and his girlfriend (on a good day). it had to get easier.
