there would never be a time she was not beautiful, he thought.

he hugged her around the waist and gazed deep into her eyes, but just as he was starting to kiss her he saw another girl.

he pulled away, after giving his girlfriend a quick kiss on the cheek. the girl with the glasses turned her back to him and started to talk to a couple of random girls.

his girlfriend pulled on his shirt and slowly lifted her hand to maneuver his eyes to face hers.

he slowly gave in and let her give him another kiss, just to barely see the girl with the glasses give a glance back to him, hurt in her eyes.

she walked down the hallway away from him, slowly going through the reasons why he would never love her while filling her friends in animatedly about her day.

how could someone act so normal on the outside and feel so utterly sad on the inside?

she had only known him for a month, and already she knew she wanted to spend more time with him.

she wanted to spend the rest of her life with him.

she would put years into loving him. if only he knew her name, she would be satisfied.

she had never had a time when she felt this strongly about a boy. she had never even talked to a boy.

her classroom seemed to appear out of nowhere and her friends steered her in.

this was her only class without him.

she steeled herself, slowly pushed down her jeans again, and let herself be guided to a row of seats filled with people.
