he wasn't in any of her classes for the next week.

she wondered if he was avoiding her. maybe once he actually saw her face he finally realized she wasn't good enough for him.

she still ached for him.

she went through the motions the next week, similar to every other day. although, for the first time in a long time, she was bullied.

she thought she had left that behind in grade school. she had switched to an entirely different school district just to avoid it. she had made lots of friends the first year at her new school, but they all left her once they saw how obviously she only cared about a boy.

she was alone, but people tried to talk to her sometimes. it was bearable. she had something to daydream about, which took her mind off the stress. her parents were overbearing, but they loved her.

if only the bullying hadn't started again.

the little blonde girl had started to accost her in the halls, along with the boy that had made fun of her the day tristan ditched her.

everyday the girl's insults were more creative and harsh. it was like she detested her.

but she had never done anything bad before. she was kind and quiet. the only bad thing about her was that she was tall.

she was so concerned about her posture and she had started hunching.

she wanted to transfer, but didn't dare say anything in fear she would never see him again.

she wondered where he was and what he was doing more and more with each passing day.

he was a sick person. but she still ached for him anyway.

-

he was sick.

he had thrown up nonstop for the past week, and all his parents were worried about was if he would be able to play at his big game next saturday.

he was in the icu for the first three days, and now he was in the main hospital area.

the only thought in his head that kept his mind of his sickness was her.

he didn't care about his girlfriend. he only wondered what hell she had caused in his wake.

he missed her; the idea of her, the way her hair looked perfect even though it was in a messy braid most of the time. the way she was tall, and didn't hunch. the quiet kindness that seemed to surround her. he wondered why he never saw her with any of her friends.

and he had only really seen her for a day.

he wondered what she was doing with each passing day. he wanted to see her again. he wanted to get better so he could.

he ached for her.
