Today is my one month anniversary with Ben. By now we were way more comfortable with each other, no more awkward moments of him not being sure if he's allowed to make a move and me not knowing how to converse with him. We were going out to Feinstein's/ 54 Below, an iconic restaurant. I told him that I'd drive over to his house instead of him constantly picking me up.

At around 5:30, I started getting ready. This was the first night (aside from the night we met) that I will have been dressed up instead of in casual wear, I decided to make it special. I scanned through Sarah's closet, searching for an outfit. I ended up pulling out a silver and black dress- practically skin tight- and some matching silver wedges. The dress had black straps that crossed over the top, exposing quite a bit of my cleavage. I mustered up a smokey eye look and applied false lashes. I had ended up picking a nude lip to tone down the look just a bit. I stood in the mirror, admiring myself. This was the first time in a while that I had felt really good about myself, one of the first times I felt deserving of the beautiful man I was to see tonight.

I arrived at Bens house at around 7:00. We had some time before we had to leave for Feinstein's, so he poured us a glass of red wine. He was so handsome, wearing a very nice patterned button-down and black dress pants. We chatted for a little before it was time to go.

We got to the restaurant and were sat at a table near the lit up stage. I ordered the Fettuccine Bolognese, and Ben the Creekstone Farm Filet Mignon. We decided to skip appetizers. As the waiter waltzed away, a voice called for one Mr. Ben Fankhauser to approach the stage. Ben took a seat at the piano and smiled at me. I gave a quick smirk and mouthed "no Beyonce", to which he replied with a shake of his head.

I almost immediately recognized the tune as "wake me up" by Avicii. The crowd began to clap along to his music, and I continued gazing at my boyfriend of 1 month. He was so skilled in many different areas, the piano being a new one that he shared with me. The crowd erupted with applause after he completed his performance, and he strutted back to our table.

"That was fantastic"

"YOU are fantastic," he said, placing a kiss on my hand. I blushed at the remark. The waiter had arrived with our entrees as another woman took her place on stage. We held hands while eating our dinner, and though we didn't speak much you could see the love we shared. Our actions, the looks in our eyes, it was absolutely perfect.

A busboy took our now empty plates to the kitchen, while another waiter brought a beautifully plated slice of chocolate cake, drizzled with fudge.

"Oh, we didn't order..." I protested to the young man with the plate.

"Happy anniversary y/n" Ben interrupted, taking the plate. He had asked someone beforehand to write "happy anniversary" in fudge. Needless to say, I was shocked. I thanked him as he proceeded to tell me how magnificent the baker was, and how it was the moistest cake in all of the world. We both dug our forks into the decadent dessert, indulging in the sweetness, taking turns ooh-ing and aah-ing. The entire night was spectacular, and it was topped off with an absolutely gorgeous guy right across from me.

We arrived back to Bens house around 10:00. I was slightly intoxicated, and Ben insisted that I was not to drive home.

"I'm fine, Ben. I can make it to my apartment"

"Y/N, you're drunk. Here, follow me"

He led me to what i can only assume to be his bedroom. It was surprisingly really clean, gray bedsheets covered his mattress. He had shelves upon shelves of pictures and knick-knacks, probably gifts from his fans. Next thing I knew I was passed out on his bed.

When I woke up the next morning, I was dressed in an oversized T-Shirt, my dress hanging on the door. I walked into the connected bathroom and looked in the mirror. My makeup was gone, so clearly Ben knew the importance of removing all makeup before bed. It was only now that I realized that I was at Bens house, in Bens shirt, had I? Oh no. Ideas rushed through my head, had me and Ben..... ya know? Had he taken advantage of me? My thoughts were interrupted by puking and a massive headache.

I walked into the kitchen to grab a glass of water, finding Ben asleep on the couch. There was a pad of paper next to him, and obviously, I had to see what it said.

"Y/N, if you happen to wake up before me:

-no, nothing happened last night

-I washed your dress, it had a little vomit on it.

-there are bagels and cereal in the pantry. Feel free to take whatever you want though :)"

I was reassured by the note, and my heart warmed by Ben thinking about me. I gave him a peck on the forehead before heading toward the kitchen as if it were my own. I decided to make a bowl of cereal and learned a lot in the process.

1) Ben eats like a child. Lucky charms, fruit loops, and cinnamon toast crunch. Not that I'm complaining.

2) He is so organized. Like crazy organized. HIS PANTRY IS ORGANIZED BY HEIGHT AND COLOR.

3) he is sooooo cute.

Okay so maybe the 3rd one isn't new, but everything else is. I sat at the marble bar attached to the counter, as I heard Ben stirring. I was in the middle of chomping on a spoonful of lucky charms when I felt Ben wrap his arms around me.

"Mmm, good morning sunshine," he said, laying his head in the crook of my neck. I felt at home with him. He walked into the kitchen and began preparing an egg breakfast with a salad. He made a cup of coffee- a little cream and 1 spoon of sugar. You might as well leave it black at that point if you ask me.

His breakfast did look good, almost as good as him. He took a seat next to me as we enjoyed our meals.

"The cereal is for my niece, I usually eat pretty healthily"

"I could tell. Hostess snack cakes are very healthy"

"So maybe I enjoy a Twinkie every now and then, a cupcake here and there"

We laughed together for a bit before I went to go get changed.

"You can wear anything in there you want, I cant imagine that you'd want to wear that dress right now"

It was so sweet that he thought of me and my comfort. I ended up wearing some grey sweatpants and kept on the oversized shirt. I ran my dress and heels down to my car and returned to the couch.

"Wow" Ben stared at me as if I were the most stunning girl in the world, or if there was some magnificent ballgown draped over my body. He made me feel so gorgeous, even while wearing some of his old clothes. We laid on the couch and cuddled, having a few breaks to puke from my hangover.
