The next morning was.....fun...I guess you could say. After our first time, ya know, we did it more. A lot more. Its very rare that you find a guy that's both cute AND hot, but Ben has managed to do so. He made me extremely happy, in more ways than one. He was pretty much all I'd ever hoped for, and I've only been with him for a few months. I was beginning to become even more comfortable around him, not that I wasn't before, and our relationship felt so natural like we'd been in it for years. It was just....right. So right, in fact, it was time for another big step in our relationship.

I sat down next to Ben on the couch, staring at him as he stared at the tv. I guess he noticed, as he paused his program to look at me.

"Yes?"

"There's something we need to do"

"Oh god. What's happening? Should I be scared? I'm kind of scared."

I laughed a bit at his reaction, grabbing his leg to calm him.

"No, no need to be scared. I just think that.....maybe...."

"Oh god Y/N come on! What is it?"

"Maybe its time for you to...you know...meet my parents?"

He started with a light laughter, trying to hold it in. Suddenly it burst from him, his voice filling the house. He stood up and took me with him, holding me in his arms.

"That's all? Of course baby, I'll go meet your parents. You had me worried sick that you were going to break up with me or something!"

"Never" I mumbled into his chest.

A few hours had passed, Ben began to make lunch and I called my mom. We decided tomorrow night for dinner would be good, so I told my boyfriend.

"Tomorrow, 7:00 pm. Dress nicely" I pulled him away from the stove and wrapped my arms around his neck, swaying with him as I gave the details.

"Do I ever not dress nicely?" He chuckled, giving me a kiss on the forehead and went back to his cooking.

"No....im just saying. Oh, and my mom is a little on the judgemental side, but I'm sure she'll love you!"

"Okay then," Ben said slowly, a worried tone in his voice.

"I promise, there's nothing to worry about! She will adore you! Hopefully."

"What was that last part?"

"No-nothing! Nothing at all babe. Love you!" I darted to the bedroom before I said anything else to upset or worry Ben.

5:30 pm

I watched as Ben straightened his tie in the mirror. He ended up choosing the green one over the blue, only landing on the decision after probably 15 minutes.

"Ben. I promise you will be fine! I don't think you even need the tie"

"Are you sure your mom will like me?" I walked over to him as he turned to look at me. I removed his tie and unbuttoned a couple buttons on his shirt.

"She'll love you. And so will my dad." I kissed him on the cheek, feeling his breath settle and heart go at a normal pace. I left the room slowly, standing in the doorway outside for a minute.

"Shes right. You'll be great. You look good." He took a few deep breaths while coaching himself. I couldn't help but smile at his sense of worry.

We left the house at 6:15 as it took 30 minutes to get to mums house and we wanted to be a little early. His hand tensed on the steering wheel, knuckles turning white.
