Jenn POV
We were all at the school in our gowns waiting to be seated. I was with my girls and Lamar. "Yo I'm so glad this is over with" Lamar said. "Right" i responded. We all had our hair straight and had make up on with some heels. Of course Wynter extra ass had to bring an extra pair of shoes. "You so extra bro" i told her. "You know i hate heels" she whined. "Well they look good so stop complaining bitch" Janiah said. We were making small talk until these group of niggas ran to us. "Uh oh here come the "gang bangers" ugly ass" Wynter said sarcastically. "Shut up but wassup y'all" waun yelled out. "Hey" i said waving at them. Renee and Nicole came and gave us hugs. "Hey girly!" Wynter yelled. Renee and Nicole are real cool and we stay close. "After this we all gon come to y'all strip club and watch y'all dance" Wynter said laughing. "Faaaacts" me and Janiah said in sync. "We won't be strippers like of course not" Renee said lying like fuck. "Yeah riiiight" Nicole said. "Y'all why are y'all running wassup with y'all" i asked Waun and his crew. "Oh uh.. it's nothing just felt like running. Waun said smiling real hard. Something didnt even feel right but i ignored that feeling. "We need all of our graduating students to come sit down IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER , teachers help the students out" Our principal said. "Ight y'all ready?" Lamar asked. "Of course we are" this voice said, i snapped my head back and saw Randall. I awkwardly smiled then walked off with Wynter niah and marti. "Jenn look" Marti said pointing at Randall. "Girl shut the fuck up damn" Janiah told her laughing. "Facts" Wynter said. I just small laughed. I peeped back making sure he didn't notice i was looking. He cut all his hair off, ah i told him to do that. He grew some more and got a tattoo. He looks nice man , i lowkey miss him. I started reminiscing before sitting down away from my friends.
Wynter POV
Marti last name Hinton so she like a row behind me , matter of fact she is right behind me. I pulled out my phone and took a picture of us on Snapchat. "Goals" some boy said. I just laughed. "Nigga is weird" marti said. "Stop being mean bay" i said slightly slapping her. "So we have our graduation for these amazing students, it's been an amazing opportunity teaching all of y'all and listening to us , now you all are here getting ready to take on the real world that's what we like to see makes us seem like we did our job right" our principal said. I did a big cough after he said that making others laugh. "Hahaha so funny, but let's gets going good job everybody and i hope you live your life to the fullest" he said walking off the stage. Everybody clapped and got on there phones. "Girl I'm so bored oh my gosh" K'lani said next to me. Her last name Jackson so we always sat next to each other in every class we had. They began calling names "Jennifer Dominguez" they said. "YAAAAAY BESTIE!" I screamed to the top of my lungs. She blushed and got her diploma. "Bighead" this boy yelled when everything was quiet. I looked back and saw Randall smiling hard as fuck. "Yoooooo" i said dying laughing. I looked at jenn and winked at her. "Shut up" she mouthed. They called every name including mine, we were down to the last 5 rows "lamar Pendleton" they said. Almost every female got up and cheered. He did a stupid ass flashy smile. So fucking ugly dude. I laughed at myself. "Thank you for cheering for me wife" he said to marti. They became cool again like at least a month ago because she found out he told me to talk to her when her and that girl had did some. "Yup sure was" she responded winking. "Oh my gosh y'all get on my nerves" i said. They do that all the time man. "Now but not least the most troublesome boy we have reached , Randall Zachary". They spoke into the micro phone cheering. Everybody laughing and cheering at the same time. Randall did have a hard year and a lot of people tried helping him and making him stay on task it took a lot but at least he made it man. "And he got a scholarship for football at UGA" the principal said. Everybody is the crowd roared for Randall. Ole ugly ass why ain't they do that for other people. His goofy ass came up the micro phone and started talking. "Thank y'all for cheering me on and helping me get back on track cuz i know it took so much man , but 2 people i would really like to thank, number one my boy lamar man that nigga- "excuse me" the principal said. "Oops my bad i mean my home boy lamar helped me out so much and kept me going man i love you bro ! And also Jennifer , my first love thank you for never giving up on me and keeping me focused i know i did a lot of dumb shit to you and hurt you and just made you go through stupid and unnecessary stuff man that's all my fault but thank you so much, i can't wait to see you grow up into the beautiful woman you already are , and for my teachers thank you so much man i know i was a handful and for still keeping me from getting out of trouble, overall i love all y'all and thank y'all, BUT I MADE IT BIIIIITCH" Randall yelled running off stage dancing. We all laughed and cheered Randall on. "This concludes our graduation thank y'all so much for coming out and thank you for these amazing students, but let's not forget our amazing parents let's give em a hand clap". We al clapped for them. I swear my hands are red as fuck for all this damn clapping. "Alright my grown ups go live it out and enjoy the real world and see how hard it is" the principal said laughing. "I can't stand him man" i told marti laughing. "For real" we laughed then met up with jenn , niah , and Lamar plus others. "So jenn How ya feel" i said making my nosy face. "Ahhhh" She said sticking her tongue out. We all laughed. Then Randall came to us. "Ooop" i said quietly. "Okcuurt" i said to niah. "Okcuuuurt" niah said to me. Then we all started doing it even lamar. "Shut uppp" Jennifer said. "I love you so much man and I'm so sor-" he got cut off my the sound of gunshots. The bullets spreading like wild fire. Not even taking a breaking just letting the choppa ring. "Oh shit!" I said. "Baby move !" Marti said pushing me. I got up seeing her eyes roll back and drop to the floor. " no no no o not my baby no no please baby!" I begged. 2 bullets in her. 1 hit her calf the other hit her right shoulder. The pattern kept continuing. I saw jenn fall, next Randall, k'lani , lamar, janiah, and kanya. Tears streaming down my face as a screamed to the top of my lungs. Renee and Nicole hiding. Waun and them shooting back. No no this can't be please let this be a dream. I look down at marti pulling her in my arms. Taking my grown off covering her wounds so she wouldn't bleed out or any of that. The side her head bruised. "Baby please don't leave me please no please no" i begged. Tears falling down to the bottom of my chin. "Ahhh shit" said jenn and niah. "Are y'all ok!?" I said running to them hugging them. "No nigga we got fucking shot !" They said. Jenn got shot on her side. Niah got shot her back. I cried so much and so loud. "Wynter move!" Lamar said hitting my leg back wards so i could duck down and fall. He was laying next to jenn and Janiah. The air swooshing through my body as i hit head first to the hard floor. My head throbbing , the tears not even coming out just my loud screeching scream. I saw marti laying down with blood around around her. "PUT YOUR WEAPONS DOWN NOW!" The police said. The gun shots stopped , the sound of hand cuffs came on. Seeing my family friends being taken into the ambulance. I saw marti going into one. I got up and tried walking to her ambulance. "She has a scholarship she needs to be okay please just help her and fix her let me be with my baby please" i begged anybody that was hearing. "Ma'am i need you to sit down the side of your head is bleeding" the doctor told me sitting me down. "No wait please just let me please...." i said feeling my voice going out, my body falling out like my bones just got removed from my body. "She's coding ! She is coding!" The lady in all black said with a sloppy bun in her head. "Ma'am i need you to get up ok we are taking you into the ambulance ok" the lady said. My vision getting blurry, going in and out as i moved around. "But my friends i need my friends" i softly spoke. "Baby they will be in the same hospital as you i promise" she said. "Jenn, Janiah, lamar, kanya, randall, k'lani... Martiana" i spoke. I felt the blackness crowding my eyes. No Wynter stay away awake come on you have to be here for your... your.... your fri-friends. My body shut down the sounds around me slightly fading as i got closer to the hospital. Bye bye Wynter, in your next life time you will be better a better person. I told myself. Trying to keep awake. "She is dehydrated and loosing blood come on let's go!" The doctor said rolling me into a room. "I need my friend please" "We will keep you updated i just need you to stay with me ok. I nodded. My friends i need them my baby... i felt my heart drop to the memory of the gun shots going into their body. Marti took a bullet for me...
My hearing coming back , "flatline.. time of death 12:58 pm" said the doctors. I don't know who are what they were talking about but the hospital was half empty... my heart dropped snd tears came out.... "ma'am we have to fix your head up down come you put this mask on your face please" the lady told me. "And count back from 5 ok" i nodded. Damn my head must be really bad. 5....4....3....2. The blackness came in fully on my eyes feeling myself let... go.
