Jane Quinn Payne
I wake up in the middle of the night on 20 August. I feel a few contractions, groan in pain but wait till it's over. It's supposed to stop Inna few minutes. But then after the contractions get more painful and last longer than normal. I wake Liam up.
"Sweetheart, I have stronger contractions." I say to him.
"Are you okay love?" He asks yawning.

"Nope."

"Why? What happened?"

"I think my water just broke."

Liam jumps up from bed and gets the bag filled with baby clothes and my clothes. And calls an ambulance. Just then I get the worst contractions ever. And the worst storm is going on outside.
After Liam called everyone, I was surround by our friends who were trying to calm me down.
The ambulance showed up half an hour later. And you have no idea what they told me.

"Ma'am you're gonna have to give birth here at home." One of the nurses says.
"What?" I ask.
"Dear it is way too dangerous for us to drive you to the Hospital so you'll have to give birth right here." An older lady says. She reminds me of my abuelita.
She starts telling everyone what to do and minutes later I'm sitting in some kind of kiddy pool that's filled with a little water.
"Now dear, it's almost time to push." She smiles. I look up to see Liam looking down at me. He gives me a reassuring smile before I look at my door.

I can't believe I'm giving birth in my living room.
"1...2...3...PUSH!!" The nurse screams. I push three times than stop for some air.

"Push!!"

"Push!!"

"We're probably gonna be here all night dear it's gonna take awhile."

"JESUS NO!!" I scream in pain.

"LIAM JAMES PAYNE THIS IS YOUR FAULT!!" I scold Liam in pain.

"LOUIS!! HARRY!! IF I DIE TAKE CARE OF MY BABIES!!"

"Jane, it'll be okay." Katherine tries to calm me down.

"HOLY SANTA MARIA MADRE DE DIOS AYUDAME!!" I scream in Spanish.

Hours, and hours and hours of screaming and pain.

When finally, August 22, at 1:05 am in the morning. My daughter and son were born.

"The contractions aren't stopping." I tell the nurse while I'm kind of panicking.

"Push one last time dear." She commands. And I do as told when finally, another cry fills the room.

"Another baby girl!" The nurse says in shock.

"Three?!" Liam and I say while in shock.

"A baby boy and two baby girls. You two are one blessed couple." The old nurse chuckles.

"Triplets." Liam says happily. I smile faintly before falling asleep.

Can you blame me though? I just spent 47 hours giving birth to triplets.
