You're the babysitter?!

Jane Quinn.
It's been 7 months since I've seen Liam. Or heard from him. But I don't need to know what's going on with him. I'm just a fling. I put on a cute white blouse, blue denim jeans and brown wedges. I brush my hair and leave it loose. I have an interview for a babysitting job. I need it to pay for the rent.

I knock on the front door and Cheryl Cole opens the door. "Hello, are you Jane?" She asks. "Yes." I smile.
She starts asking me lots of questions.
"Well you got the job. And you start now.
Look kid, I don't normally hire twenty-one year old's on the spot, but you're an exception. So don't screw it up. I left a list of things to do on the kitchen counter. Good luck. My son bear is sleeping in his room. Up stairs, Down the hall white door with big blue letters on it." She instructs. I nod but she's already out the door. I might as well start cleaning.

After cleaning the entire house for what felt like 5 hours, I finally finish and smile at the end result.

I finish my Harry Potter book as soon as I hear a soft cry come from upstairs. I put the book down and run up the stairs. I open the white door with "Bear" written on it with big blue letters. There Bear was crying in his baby bed. I pick him up and rock him back and forth, till he calms down. He looks up at me with his Beautiful big brown eyes. He sorta looks like... No, he couldn't be. Forget him Jane!

I walk downstairs with Bear in my arms. I check the list.

1) feed Bear apple sauce when he wakes up from his afternoon nap. In refrigerator.

I open the refrigerator and take out the apple sauce and put Bear in his baby chair and start feeding him. He eats it happily and I can't help but "awe" at the sight. He starts gurgling and I giggle at his silly-ness. "Bear, here comes the choo-choo train." I say in a baby voice then put the spoon with Apple sauce in his mouth. He swallows and I smile. This was pretty easy.

I pick the 6 month old baby up and check the list.

2) put him down on the carpet and play with him. Then watch some television with him on the couch and he'll fall asleep.

I pick him up and sit both of us down on the red fluffy carpet. I play pickabo with him, causing him to laugh and giggle. I act like Batman and "safe" him from Joker. I blow kisses on his stomach making him erupt in laughter. We end up watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and after the whole season he fell asleep on my stomach. I drape my arms over him to keep him from falling off and as I'm about to check the list the door opens. I pick Bear up and put him in his play pen. I walk to front door to find Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan.

"Excuse me?" I ask getting their attention.
"Hello love, is Li around?" Louis asks.
"He's not here." I say, confused.
"Then why are you here?" Niall asks. He wasn't being rude, just curious. I know the feeling.
"I'm the babysitter." I say.
"Oh, well when Li gets back could you tell him to call us? It's about management." Louis says. I nod smiling and lock the door as they close it. I walk back to the living room and check the list.
3) Make dinner. For you, Liam, Bear and I. And of course, his 4 friends and girlfriends. It's family night.

Son of a bitch, he's married and has a kid. Oh god, I was a one night stand for real.

I groan but get to cooking. I cook spaghetti, chicken linguine and ratatouille. I then make dessert, which are medium sized lava cakes. I set the table, decorate to make it seem a little more formal. I use Christmas lights to make a chandelier. There's a knock on the door and I stand up to get it. I open the door and there he is.
"Oh, Jane hi, what are you doing here?" Liam asks me, a bit nervous.

"Evening Mr. Payne, your wife Mrs. Payne Cole hired me as your son's babysitter." I say professionally.
In this moment, all I wanted to do was get swallowed whole by the earth. How could I be so foolish?

He's a father

Yet here I was, day dreaming about him.

From here on out, our relationship is strictly professional.
