"And don't spend too much time in your room!"

Virgil closed his door behind him, ceasing Pattons last call of encouragement and leaving Virgil to a void of silence. He sighed, his back sliding against the door as he sloped onto it restlessly, his mind whirring with thoughts.

"Why would that book be so important to Logan?" He thought, thinking back to the small conversation he had had with Patton.

"It doesn't make any sense; how can a book be so unsettling to someone?" Virgil mumbled to himself before pushing off from the door and sliding his headphones over his ears.

"I need some time to think, theres too much going on right now. Thomas is practicing lines, Roman is busy getting distracted by his wild imagination, Patton is oddly observant, and Logan is getting worked up over some stupid book."

He huffed.

"Sleep is the only solution to this overwhelming mess of a morning."

Virgil opened his eyes with a gasp, his chest heaving heavily and his breath becoming ragged, as he found himself in a strange and dark area that seemed to have him between a back alley to a setup, and a curtain. Heart-beat gaining more speed, and the air growing ever more sharp and cold, Virgil dared to take a wobbly step forward, feeling the fear inside him only and ever escalating, forcing him to rigidly stop, frozen in anxiety; his throat tightened and his stomach clenched. "W-whats going on?" Virgil thought, unable to speak aloud. "Where am I?" His mind seemed to wonder on in question, pressing him to move forward and answer the inquiries; but his feet wouldn't budge, and nor would his courage.

Suddenly, a light shone from underneath the curtain and Virgil turned his head to look, his eyes widening as the curtain opened, revealing a waiting audience who seemed to have their eyes on a small set up mid stage.

Virgil watched from where he stood on stage left, eyes wondering around the kids positioned about as the spot light blared. One child, in particular, caught his gaze and Virgil stared as the boy stood frozen, eyes wide with fear and limbs stiff. Virgil narrowed his gaze in confusion as he felt a resonance climb through him, making him shudder. Finally, the scene began to take place, as some of the little kids moved about, some speaking, and some maneuvering about. As Virgil watched, his eyes stayed trained on that one boy, as the small actor proceeded to move, little by little, his gaze never straying from the audience as he awkwardly went through with his acting.

"What's he doing?" Virgil wondered in confusion and worry.

The scene carried on, but after a few moments the talking cut out and all attention seemed to be focused on the boy Virgil had been watching. The young actor stared blankly back at them, shaking and seemingly unable to speak. A few seconds passed and Virgil could only feel his throat becoming ever more tight, his finger nails piercing into his palms, and his teeth biting into his lip; until finally, the boy ran off, passing Virgil in a bout of wind; making the stage and the rest of the actors, dissipate from sight in a wisp of fog.
