Thomas drifted through the next scene, hardly paying attention to the chores he was supposed to be getting done as he recited lines with Roman; now in the living room, he organized the couch absentmindedly.
In the back of his brain, a dull ache of fear was distracting him, and he could tell Virgil was still brooding over the previous event. He wasn't sure if either Roman or Virgil had been right in their words and claims, but he still felt guilty; his anxiety was a very important part of him, and although he had been off-putting for the past couple of days, Thomas still felt bad...
"Thomas are you like- Lost? or something? Cause I've repeated this line like 10 billion times and you have yet to respond. Or maybe you're just ignoring me- in which case thats fine... okay- not really- but whatever." Roman scoffed, pulling Thomas from his thoughts; he shook his head.
"No..! No! Sorry- I wasn't ignoring you- I just- blanked out for a moment, my bad, sorry." He explained, glancing at the script in his hand; where even were they..?
Roman frowned, narrowing his eyes as he folded his arms.
"Come on Thomas, you need to get your head in the game! How else am I supposed to help you become the star of the show if you won't even pay attention?! Like-" Roman laughed out of his own exaggeration.
"What do you want me to do?? Dress in drag and do the hula?!"
Thomas sighed.
"I know- I know- I'm sorry! Just- thinking too much.. thats all."
A look of complete betrayal played across the princes face.
"I should've known! How could he?! Is Logan distracting you?! He is isn't he??" Roman threw his arms in the air with exasperation, turning away as his script arced into the air before disappearing.
"Wait until I find him.. and that ridiculous list of chores-"
"Roman..!" Thomas exclaimed, watching his creativity go on with his dramatic ways; the prince stopped.
"It's not- Logan- I'm just tired, okay? I didn't get much sleep last night." He admitted and Roman suddenly looked guilty.
"Oh- of course.." The side nodded. "Understandable- your attention is broke, thats alright we can take a break if you'd-"
Roman was unable to finish.
"If it's not boroque, don't fix it!" Patton appeared with his arms wide and a big grin on his face.
"Ahh nice.. Beauty and the Beast.." Thomas nodded with a small smile, glancing to see Roman with slight entertainment on his face.
"Thank you for that Patton- but you inter-"
"You caught my reference!!!" the moral side exclaimed in excitement. "I'm just full of these quotes ya'know? I have a wholebunchmore-"
"Patton!" Roman exclaimed and the dad looked at him with slight surprise.
"Yessir?"
"We're trying- to do something-" Roman gestured to Thomas and him.
"Oh! Sorry!!" Patton chuckled. "I'm just so excited for tonight..! I- I'm just so happy I could bounce! This pop is just popping with Glee!"
Thomas couldn't help but smile at his hearts energy for the movie night, and he realized just how much impatience he actually had to see and hang out with his friends; he met gazes with Roman, knowing his creative side was just as excited- even though he wasn't showing it as blatantly as Patton was.
The prince glanced to him before letting a grin creep onto his face and he nodded to Patton.
"I'm quite impatient myself." He agreed "It'll be fun to host such a night!"
"Ooo!!! What about after the movie though?? Are we going to play any games?"
"Uno?" Thomas suggested."NO!" Patton and Roman exclaimed in unison.
"Uno ruins lives Thomas!" Roman warned.
"Plus it doesn't even have all the colors of the rainbow, and thats boring." Patton added on and Thomas nodded, a bit shocked.
"Uhh- alright." He shrugged.
"We should come up with a new game!"
Roman gasped as his creative gears started to spin, and Thomas started imagining images of different games, thinking about their unique but effective components.
"I'll start thinking about one! And- We can make a video out of this too!" Roman stated, his eyes gleaming with a new sense of determination.
"Feed two birds with one hand!" Patton exclaimed looking at Thomas.
"Your viewers haven't had content in a little bit- can we do it?? Pleasssseeeee???"
The two sides turned to look at Thomas, both looking as if they were prepared for a creative battle of sorts.
"Uhh- sure! Why not? It'll be fun." Thomas grinned.
"Recur please." Logan suddenly appeared next to the entrance to the living room from where the kitchen ended, his arms folded and eyes looking a little sleepy. "Probably from my lack of sleep last night..." Thomas determined, reasoning for the logical sides gradually increasing tire; he just hoped logic wouldn't be completely gone by the end of the day, or else he wasn't sure if he could manage hosting a party.
Roman groaned.
"Oh come on.. You stick in the mud..! Doesn't this fit in with your 'productive ways?'" Roman made quotations in the air with his fingers as he said this and Logan lifted an eyebrow.
"It does.. But that's not what I'm talking about.." Logan walked up to the three.
"If we're going to do a vlog of sorts, we need a definitive idea, and a set plan, before we go on any further." Thomas glanced to Roman and Patton before nodding.
"True." He agreed and Logan smiled slightly.
"Roman, you take care of brainstorming the game- last time Thomas tried to do that.. well.. Let's just say, it didn't work out."
"Of course." Roman nodded his head.
"Oh- Oh- Logan...! What can I do???" Patton bounced and the logical side grimaced slightly.
"Uhh.." He looked to Thomas for help, but he shrugged to Logan; the side cleared his throat.
"Patton, you can help keep Roman and Thomas on track with the game idea, while I make sure our chores are still getting fulfilled."
"Excellent!" Roman roared.
"Yay!" Patton clapped excitedly.
"Are you alright with this plan, Thomas?"
He nodded.
"Lets not waste any more time then."
