It's six in the evening and she is heading to the Sy mansion, here grandparents ancestral home. Two days after her grandfather's call ay ipinatawag siya nito sa bahay ng mga ito. Two days ago ay bumulagta sa mga internet site, magazines,  newspaper and it is even all over the news ang  isang balita.

Flashback

After her meeting and the screening with Santiago Advertising ay parang patang pata ang katawan niya sa pagod. Kahit ang paglalakad lang papasok sa kanyang condo unit ay nakakapagpadagdag na sa pagod na nararamdaman niya. It was a long and tiring day. Ganito ang buhay niya sa loob ng isang linggo. Ganito ang pagod na nararamdaman niya sa isang linggong nakakalipas. And she knew she will continue to be like this for she doesn't know how long.

Pagal niyang inihiga ang katawan sa kama. Agad naman siyang nilapitan ng alagang asong si Basha at dinilaan ang kamay.

"Poopie I'm so tired baby." Ungol niya.

But he never stop licking her hands, and she knew her dog is hungry.  Kaya kahit tamad na tamad na siya ay bumangon siya. She grab her remote control and open the flat screen tv in her room before going to the kitchen to prepare some foods for her dog.

She silently watch her dog while digging the food she gave to her.

She already have some snacks a while ago, not even a decent dinner but it was enough for her, habang sinasagawa ang screening kasama si Director Santiago at ang ibang representatives ng Santiago Advertising.

She immediately went back to her room when Basha finished eating. She was about to go in her bathroom when she heard Slater's name on the tv.

She sat in her bed to watch.

Ipinapakita doon ang achievements na mga taong sikat. And some of their personal life.

She smile sadly upon seeing the handsome face of the man she love. How she miss him. She miss him so much that she wanted to cry.

"Mr. Slater Chen, of Chen Empire, is one of the youngest and successful businessman of the century. He is now the President and soon to be Chief Executive Officer of Chen Empire." Anang host ng late show na iyon. This show is actually a business show. "And the handsome president of Chen Empire was spoted having a romantic and intimate dinner with the beauty queen Ms. Charlotte Lim, daughter of a well known businessman Mr. Sebastian Lim." Nahugot niya ang hininga sa sinabi ng host. Pain ate her heart ng sunod na ipinakita sa screen ang larawan ng mga ito. Slater is gently holding Charlotte's thin waist habang papasok sa isang kilalang restaurant. "According to our resources, Mr. Chen rented the whole restaurant for this dinner. The question is? Did he already pop the question that every woman wanted to hear from their partner?" Hindi niya namalayan ang pagtulo ng kanyang mga luha habang patuloy na nanonood sa dalawang taong nasa screen. They are too sweet. Slater is even smiling to her. Yung ngiting ipinagkakait nito sa kanya, ay malaya nitong ibinibigay sa babaeng iyon. "If he did, what about her rumored girlfriend and rumored fiance Ms. Tyra Sy? Is everyhing that is circulating about their marriage in business world is really is a rumor?" Napahagulhol siya sa narinig. Yes maybe she is just like that. A rumor. Hindi totoo, chismis nalang. Because here infront of her is the woman he really chooses. Yun babaeng pinili mismo nito sa harapan niya. Yung babaeng hindi ang pamilya nito ang pumili. Si Slater mismo ang pumili.

She turn off the television ng hindi na niya nakayanan ang sunod sunod na larawan ni Slater at Charlotte.  Hindi kinakaya ng puso niya ang nakikita niyang saya sa mga mukha ng mga ito, habang siya ay nandito sa apat na sulok ng kanyang kwarto.
