"A...Ankong" gulat niyang sabi dito.

Nasa sala ito ngayon at prenteng naka upo sa pang isahang sofa doon habang matiim itong nakatingin sa gawi niya. His cold stare says as if did something unacceptable.

She compose herself ng makabawi sa pagkabigla. She think this is one of the Saturday the her Ankong and Ama join them for breakfast. And unfortunately no one inform her na dito mag aagahan ngayon ang kanyang grand parents, so in the end she was caught by surprise.

"Good morning Ankong." Bati niya dito at binigyan ito ng tipid na ngiti.

Pinunasan niya ang medyo may bahid pa ng pawis na pisngi habang marahang humahakbang palapit dito. Nagmano siya dito at akmang mag bebeso dito ng itaas nito ang kaliwang kamay nito tanda na pinapahinto siya nito sa pagbeso dito. Nabigla siya sa ginawa nito, this is the first time that her Ankong stop her na bumeso dito, well maybe dahil sa pawis na nakuha niya buhat sa pag jojoging? But she felt a little embarrass for what he did kahit na wala namang nakakakita sa kanila. Hurt for what he did kaya naman humakbang siya ng ilang hakbang palayo dito. Tumayo nalang siya ng tuwid.

"Why are you with that boy Tyra?" Tanong nito sa kanya.

"I..I happen to bump with him sa park po ng subdivision while jogging. We did a little talk then hinatid lang niya ako dito. And were friends po, best of friends actually." She said.

She does not know why her Ankong does not like Nicolo habang gustong gusto naman nito si Slater. They are both Chen, isn't not that enough para maging pantay lang man ang pagkagusto nito sa dalawang lalaki? Nicolo is a nice man, her lolo should see that too. He maybe a pain in the ass sometimes but he is nice. And he always get her out of trouble. He is always there when he needs someone to talk with. Nicolo is her best friend, is that not enough para magustuhan man lang ito ng kanyang lolo bilang isang tao.

"Best of friends?" Taas kilay na ulit nito sa kanyang sinabi. "Instead of fooling around your "bestfriend", why don't you try to work your relationship with Slater? Your fiance." Pagpapatuloy nito.

Fooling around with Nicolo?

She is not fooling around with him! Anong tingin sa kanyang ng kanyang lolo? That she is flirting with Nicolo while her boyrfriend is Slater? The heck!

She wanted to shout those words to her Ankong's face but she is afraid to do it. Siguradong lalo itong magagalit sa kanya kapag sinagot niya ito ng pabalang.

And fiance?

Yeah right. How she wish she is Slater's fiance. But she isn't. At ayaw niyang magmadali. Kuntento na siya sa kung ano mang development sa relasyon nila. She wanted to take one step at a time. And when the time that he gave her a ring that will be the moment that she will have the guts to say that Slater Chen is her fiance, pero sa ngayon she will take it slow.

Ngayon palang niya nararamdaman na unti unti na siyang nagkakapuwang sa puso ni Slater and she is willing to wait until the time that Slater will accept that someday they will get married. And she only wish that when that day come ay mahal na siya nito, na hindi lang ito napipilitang magpakasal sa kanya. She will make sure that Slater will love her the way she love him.

But for now she is willing to be by his side. For him to notice how much love she have for him.

"Stop being hard on my daughter papa." She heared someone say behind them. She smile a little when she recognize her father's voice. Her father is really her knight in shinning armor.
