Prophecy (On Hold)

~5~ Starting Our Journey ~

It's been a day since we left and we are still stuck on this train. Lillian still is gloomy. I feel bad for her, but this is reality, not some princess lovey-dovey fairytale.

Right now I am writing letters, updating our situation and our plan of action, and gonna send them to the Phoenix Talon guild, Anna and Master Sholet.

-Meanwhile at the Golden Panthers guild/3rd person view-

It's been a day since they left. Everything is normal in the guild....well not everything. There are certain people who are gloomy. Anna and Grayson.

They sat at their normal table. They haven't said anything to anyone since the walked in this morning.

"What's up with the twins?" Chase asks their little brother, Jonah. "I don't know. They haven't said anything since they went out last night. They came home last night with bright red puffy eyes. I think they were crying" Jonah explained. "Well that's weird, Grayson's practically emotionless" Chase said, "yeah the only people who have that effect on him are Anna, me and........" Jonah trails off realising something. "And...?" Chase asks, "Lillian." Jonah states.

-with Lillian and Adaline/Adaline's POV-

We got off the train and thanked the conductor. We look around at our surroundings. This village was very lively. Children running around, couples happily taking a stroll and everyone has a big smile.

We've been walking around for at least 10 minuets. The moment I look at Lillian a child crashes into my legs. I look down to see a young girl, about the age of 8. She has dark brown hair and big Magenta eyes.

"Oops, I'm sorry miss" she says in the cutest voice I have ever heard. I bend down so I'm eye level with her. "It's ok sweetheart" I say sweetly. "You and your friend are really pretty" the child compliments. Lillian bends down to be level with us, "Thank you, but you are the cutest thing I have ever seen" Lillian says with a smile. The first smile I've seen since we left.....

"ARIA! ARIA!" A muscular voice yells attracting out attention. "Hunter!" The little girl calls back. "Is your name Aria? It very pretty, it suits you" I say as she turns her head to face us again. She nods. "Aria, who are they?" The voice asks. I look up to see a boy who's around my age, maybe a bit older. He is quite tall with raven coloured hair and dark green nearly black eyes. He's attractive.....

yes I did just think that.

"Done checking me out?" He asks breaking my train of thought. "I wasn't checking you out." I state. "Mmhmm ok then" he says. "Umm would you guys know where we could stay for the night?" I ask. "Mama and papa own an inn! Let's go!" Aria says running away from us. "Wait up Aria!" We all yell in unison.

We reach the inn Aria was telling us about. Lillian and I walk up to the counter to see an older looking version of Aria. "Hello we would like to get a room for the night" I say. "Oh yes, here" she says handing us a key, "mama!" Aria exclaims as she runs to hug her mother.  "Aria did bring these lovely girls here?" She asks, "yes mama, I did!" She answered.

"Ummmm Miss, what is your name?" Aria asks me. "Oops I guess we forgot that detail. This is Lillian Sturn and I am Adaline Jayla" I introduce as I pay. "My name is Alexa, and you know Aria" she speaks as the child in her hands giggled. "And I'm Hunter" Hunter states. I forgot he was here.

"Mama can they have din-din with us tonight?" Aria asks, "sure why not!" Alexa says, "would you girls like to have dinner with us tonight?" Alexa continues. "Are you sure?" Lillian speaks. "Of course! More the merrier!" Alexa replies.

After being invited to dinner tonight Lillian and I went upstairs to find our room for the night. Alexa said that Hunter will come to fetch us and take us to dinner.

I sat on my bed, the one next to the window. I stare out to see the lights that shine on the streets. It's so beautiful. I turn to Lillian, "lil, are you ok with all of this?" I ask. She looks at me and shakes her head 'no', "I wish it didn't have to take me leaving the guild to confess to Grayson, or for him to confess to me" she says in a say tone. "At least you guys love each other, Chase hates me now" I reply.

Yeah, I liked Chase. I know he didn't like me like that but I didn't think he'd be like that towards me though.

The silence was broken by a knock at the door. "That must be Hunter" Lillian says as she opens the door. "Hey!" He says as he waves. I stand up and grab the keys. We then make our way downstairs but not before I lock our room.

Time for din-din.
