~2~ Training Starts Today ~

-Adaline's POV-

I opened the letter master gave me. Inside it read...

Dear Adaline,

Your friends at Phoenix Talon miss you dearly.

We have heard the news of you using the full extent of your power, although we already know what your ranking would be. Same goes for Lillian. If there are any problems we are always here.

We also know what's gonna happen and we know it's gonna occur soon. So for safe measures we are looking out for anything suspicious.

I felt chills when the letter mentioned the future. I pass the letter to Lillian. When she finished we shared a look that said 'we have to train, it's gonna happen soon'.

-3 week Later (2 weeks after the tests for the rankings)-

(A/N- sorry for the confusing time skips)

I woke up to the sound of sizzling bacon. I sat on the side of my bed contemplating life choices.

Joking.

I was remembering the conversation I had with Lillian and Anna the night of receiving the letter.

Flashback

We sat in the lounge room. Anna and I were sat on the couch while Lillian was sitting on the matching arm chair. "so you called me over for something, what is it?" Anna started.

We told her what happened with Master and the letter.

"so what action are we gonna take?" Anna asked.

"I think we should train," Lillian answers

"We will start in 3 weeks it gives us time to rest after the rankings are out" I say.

We all agree.

"One thing though. What happens if they find out?" Anna asked

Lillian and I share a glance.

"I honestly don't know, it depends on the situation," I replied.

The next few years are gonna be hectic.

Flashback over

I walk out of my room and down stairs. I sit at the dining table patiently waiting for food. I turn my head when I hear Lillian step on the hard wood floors with her bunny slippers. As she sets the plate of food down I admire the food I'm about to chow down. Bacon, toast with scrambled eggs placed on top with tomato sauce in a zig-zag across it.

"You gonna just stare at it? If so I'll eat it" she states reaching over to grab my plate. I look up at her and glare. "No." I say sternly. "My food," I finish. "Ok, ok no need to get feisty," she said as she picks up her plate and goes to the kitchen.

We then get ready to leave for the guild. As we enter the guild we get a few glances. Anna then comes and greets us. "Are we starting today?" She whispers in our ears. We both nod. We walked up to the bar to see Sasha.

"Hey Sash! Can I get a mixed berries smoothie?" I exclaimed
"Hiya Sash! Can I get mango shake?"
Lillian asked.
"Coming right up girlies!" Sasha responded with her big smile.

We just finished our drinks and made our way to Anna who was currently talking to her brothers and Chase.

Yes Anna has brothers a twin and a younger one. The young one is Jonah he is 13 and really laid-back and chill. He has long black hair with red tips that is usually ing a low loose ponytail. Jonah uses fire manipulation magic. Grayson is her twin. Grayson is really quiet and keeps to himself, he has raven black hair. He uses fire/lava manipulation and blood magic. While Anna uses transformation and basic fire spells. Anna also has shoulder length scarlett red hair with black tips which are in  low loose pigtails.

Chase is 14 and a really sweet guy. He has light brown hair and he is one of my best friend and my crush. Although he only sees me as a friend. I think. He uses Earth protector magic.

As we approached them Chase glanced over at me than quickly looked back. That's weird, he usually smiles. Anna turns around and sees us she smiles than walks towards us saying goodbye the the boys. We walk outside and make our way to closest forest. As we walk through the forest Anna brings up her conversation she was having with the guys.

"Y'know the guild doesn't like the fact that you are keeping your rankings to yourselves." Anna informed. "I'd be worried if they weren't," Lillian replied. "Guys look we found the clearing," I said pointing in front of us.

We than started our first day of training.
