"What do you think will happen when we walk through the doors of the guild?" I asked.
"We won't have to" Lillian replied. I gave her a confused look.
"I contacted Master Sholet before and asked him to meet us at the Coffee'n'Cake cafe around the corner from the guild" she explains.
                              I nod.
We were on the train about half an hour away from our designated town.
Miranda was sleeping, Lillian was reading and I was staring out the window lost in thought.
                              =========
"Excuse me sir, you seem to be sitting at our table" I say in an attempt to sound like a man.
Master Sholet faces us with an expression that shows us he definitely isn't impressed. His face then softened and he embraced us in a hug.
Us being Lillian and I, Miranda went to explore the town. She said she'd meet us later.
We sat down and talked about what has happened since we left. He was going on about how troublesome the kids in the guild have gotten.
He also told us that Anna and Grayson haven't been the same. All Anna could do was fake a smile and Grayson didn't even attempt to hide the fact that he isn't ok.
I could see the guilt on Lillian's face.
She missed Grayson. A lot. We never said anything about it, but it was so goddamn obvious.
I felt guilty too, but it was what had to be done. Plus it's in the past, we can never change what happened.
                              ===========
After a while of catching up we decided it was best to leave, we stood up and were about to walk our seperate ways, until a massive explosion occurred northwest from us. Smoke was rising up into the sky. The three of started sprinting to check it out.
As I got closer I saw a massive amount of people surrounding something. I push past the bystanders to see nine figures. Six of them stood just to the left of us, and the other three were on the opposite side. I recognised one of those three people to be Miranda.
How did she get into this?
Without hesitation I ran up to her gaining everyone's attention. Lillian followed me and Master Sholet made himself known by standing a few feet from the edge of the temporary oval, towards the centre.
"What is going on here?" His voice boomed. I turned around to see the six people with all too familiar faces.
                              Kennedy Docs,
                              Delilah Reeds,
                              Paris Ronash,
                              Sasha Miller,
                              Timothy Walker,
                              And Chase Griffin.
I then quickly look at the other two beside me to see the two people Lillian and I missed the most.
                              The Twins.
"Do I have to repeat myself?" Master Sholet said raising his voice that was laced with anger.
"Master! This robot girl was being mean to us, we were just wanting to teach her a lesson, but of course the gloomy twins decided to interfere and side with her! They are traitors! We're a guild we should stick together" Kennedy states, batting her eyelashes with her oh-so-innocent voice and expression.
Stick together? What a bunch of lies.
"Is this true?" Master points the question toward us.
"No offence but that was really cringeworthy" Miranda directed to Kennedy before turning her attention to Master.
"If looking around the stalls and shops trying to not to strangle a group of people who are following you, and constantly trying to get your personal information whilst insulting me is being mean. Then yes. Plus you should be grateful these two interrupted, I'm not one to go easy" she continued, a bit more magic started radiating from her.
"Well I know for a fact that is true" I giggle.
"Your not apart of this. We don't even know who you are, this is the Golden Panthers guild business. So don't get involved you good for nothing civilian" Paris retorts with that whiny screech of hers.
"Well then you shouldn't of made it our business, Miranda is our friend and your more suited to fit the title of a good for nothing civilian. To be honest I thought you'd all recognise us. I am quite disappointed but then again you aren't that - how do I say this in simple, nice terms - bright" Lillian says taking a few steps towards them.
"That voice..." I heard someone whisper. I look to see Grayson snap his head straight at Lillian. It's obvious to see that he is in disbelief.
He than looks my way to see me looking at him. I give him a smile and wave.
"Adaline? Lillian?" His voice strained out.
                              "Yup! That's us!" I exclaimed.
Kennedy and her group look at us like they've seen a ghost and the twins look as though they are gonna breakdown and cry.
"Before anything else happens I'd like to say," I start.
"THERE IS NOTHING MORE TO SEE HERE! SO PLEASE GO ON YOUR MARRY WAY AND CONTINUE WITH YOUR OWN LIVES!" I yell.
As soon as I finish I hear a lot of groans and complaints from the crowd as they did what I kindly asked them to.
"Overdramatic like always" Anna says running up to me and engulfing me in her hug of death.
Trust me, it earned the name.
I look over to Miranda and see that she is looking bored.
                              That's nothing new.
"Anna, I'd like you to meet Miranda Harris. Miranda this is Anna Kylo" I introduced.
"You have a very strong magical presence" Grayson cuts in.
As they continue their conversation I make my way to Master Sholet, who is currently scolding the others.
As I near their attention starts to be directed at me.
Once I got there, I smiled and said hi.
They all looked at me as though I was completely insane.
                              I get that a lot.
"What am I not allowed to say hi? Gees people these days" I say snapping them back to reality.
"Oh look at what the cat dragged in" was the first thing that came out of Kennedy's mouth.
"Zip it Kennedy, knowing that your an actual thing is hard enough for everyone." I say not wanting her ranting on about unnecessary stuff.
"Well we don't even want you here" Chase says standing up for Kennedy. Well he has turned into a douche.
"Who said I wanted to be here?" I turn to Master and continue "I came here to inform you that we will be leaving for Phoenix Talon in the morning"
                              I then turn around, my back facing them and state;
"I actually am really disappointed in you guys. I really thought you were all better than this, We thought you were better than this"
Before anyone can say anything else, I start walking away not sparing them another glance.
One by one, they become strangers that you grew up with.
