Jerome returns to the apartment in a state of troubled confusion, unsure how he can protect Daisy from both his teammates and the truth. He needs to get her away from the penthouse without drawing the attention of Galavan or any of the other Maniax and keep her there while he's off committing heinous crimes against humanity, all without letting her know just who he is and what he did to her friend.
He hardly has the time to go looking for a place between crime and being with Daisy. He doesn't want to spend any more time away from her than is absolutely necessary, especially when the other psychopaths are home. Thinking about all that they could do to her while he's gone makes his blood boil. And they would too, just because they would know she belonged to him and it would piss him off if they messed with her. Such assholes.
But all that could be dealt with later. What's imperative now is returning to his princess and making sure that Barbara and everyone else haven't done anything to her.
He's standing outside their door with a coloring book and pencils, trying to figure out what to tell her. He stopped to pick up the items on the way back since he told her he'd get something for her to do when he left. Finally deciding on a statement, he turns the knob and opens the door, stepping into the room with the utmost confidence.
"Rapunzel, Daddy's home—" Jerome calls, but stops short when he sees that the room is empty. Frowing, but trying not to panic immediately, he looks around the room in confusion.
A splashing sound from the bathroom catches his attention, followed by another. With a shake of his head and a fond sigh, Jerome heads over to that door, suddenly knowing exactly where his Daisy is. He stops to set down the coloring utensils before turning the handle, unsurprised to find it unlocked. So trusting and naive.
He pops his head in and finds his princess splashing in a bath filled to the brim with smoky, lavender water. An abundance of bubbles also litter the surface, obscuring a good portion of the girl from view.
Thankfully, her sweet face is perfectly visible, with a radiant smile bestowing itself upon the boy the instant she spots him. Her airy laugh dances across the space as her smile turns shy and she drops down some more in the water and bubbles to conceal her nude body. A smirk travels along Jerome's face as he makes his approval clear, leaning casually against the door frame.
"Well what do we have here?" He purrs, the vowels vibrating in his throat.
Daisy shrugs her shoulders, swaying girlishly under his scrutiny. Her submissive response sets Jerome's blood singing, his extremities tingling in anticipation as he feels himself swelling with power.
"Helped yourself to a bath I see? And is that bubbles and a bath bomb you've used?" Jerome asks languidly, sounding supremely dominant to the girl just shy of cowering in front of him.
Daisy nods uncertainly, his question making her think that maybe she shouldn't have, like maybe she wasn't allowed to mess around with stuff that he hadn't directly given her access to. She wonders if he'll punish her. The thought sends an unexpected spark through her body. The heat bubbling in her tummy makes her wonder if that would be such a bad thing.
Jerome watches as her eyes darken and glaze over just slightly, enough to make him wonder what she's thinking about. She's never shown such desire before...
Just as he begins to debate over whether or not he should make a move, Daisy seems to snap herself out if it, blushing profusely at whatever she'd been picturing. That action clues him into the fact that she isn't ready yet, even if her body is. With a kind smile, Jerome slowly approaches the tub.
"Do you need help washing your hair, princess?" He wonders, already picking up the shampoo.
With an awed expression on her face, Daisy slowly gives him a shy nod, watching raptly as he pops the cap on the bottle and pours a sizable amount in his hand, the blob rapidly spreading across his palm. With casual ease, Jerome moves his hand across the air and wipes some of the shampoo onto her hair, his empty hand coming down to gently guide her face down so he can wash her hair properly.
