"Wow, that's new, I like it" Lucas cheered "Is it yours?"
"It's my dad's, he wrote it when his wife left us" Ezra shrugged referring to his birth mother.
"But four? You, Elias, Edeline, Eveline and Ethan, that's five"
"Yeah, we weren't quite stable when the triplets came, my dad wrote the song when she left, she came back a year later to drop Ethan" He explained
"Wow, that's crazy, I don't reckon I'd spend my life with Ruby or any other female" Lucas said gently "is that wrong?"
He chuckled "You know i feel that way too. I end up thinking every woman is gonna be like her, I can't risk it" He then turned to Lucas "I'd rather spend my life with you"
"That'll be the bomb, racing in the morning, fishing in the afternoon, drinking at night, gambling anytime. The ultimate lone wolves" Lucas chirped as he threw his head back in laughter.
"Well, that could work too" Ezra murmured in Lucas' neck.
"I like you Ezra, a whole lot, you like me too right?" Lucas asked, his blond hair reflecting the light of the setting sun.
"More than you ever know blondie" he replied stroking the head on laying his shoulders "more than you ever know"
The two talked way into the night and finally fell asleep in the arms of each other as the night watched on.
