~park jimin~

i placed on my apron and began my shift at work. usually my coworker isn't here most of the time, but surprisingly he was here.

"jimin, hey." jin greeted me from the inside of the kitchen. he made the bakery and other sweets for the shop.

"hi hyung. you're back?" i questioned.

"yeah, my sugar gliders needed to go to the vet." he explained.

i nodded my head. "ahh, okay. you're lucky i covered for you yesterday."

jin smiled sheepishly. "yeah...thanks for that jimin. oh, was that girl here yesterday?"

"what do you think?" i tilted my head, smirking.

"she was. did you finally talk to her though?" jins' eyes urged me to answer him.

"jin, you know how shy i am. the only thing i can really say to her is 'welcome to parks coffee shop. how may i help you?' honestly, it terrifies me at the though of talking to her." i rambled on and on.

"ugh!! park jimin, you need to face you fears one day. are you scared of her?"

i scrunched my face up. "of course not. she's just a very mysterious girl."

the bell ring once again, and the same curly, brown hair bounced up to the counter.

"here's your chance." jin whispered from the side of my ear, before disappearing from to the kitchen.

i gulped and turned to face the girl with a nervous smile. "hi, welcome to park's coffee shop. how may I help you?"

"two small caramel macchiatos." she said, smiling.

i nodded and turned to fix it once again. after put them in the cups, i handed them to her.

"will that be all?" i asked.

she nodded. "yeah."

she turned her head to walk away,
but my voice stopped her.

"hey, uh, um. why do you get two coffee's everyday? who's the second one for?" my mind must be going crazy right now. where did this courage come from? maybe that boost from jin really did help?

"my mom. why?" she laughed a bit.

"i-i don't know. just curious, i guess." i shrugged my shoulders, also laughing.

"yeah, she used to love coffee. anyway, bye." she waved and left.
