Jessie's hand shook as she reached forward with her mouse and clicked the message.

'Hey' it simply read. She leaned back in her chair and stared at words and the small square with a picture of David with a girl draped over him. His arm was around her shoulder loosely as he looked at the camera with that grin that she had experienced that day. Mischief.

As she stared at the girl in the photo she became angrier by the second. She growled out loud and angrily typed 'What the hell do you want?' Her wolf was taking over her actions and a part of her feared that she would lose complete control.

She glared at the screen as he began to type back.

'Watch ur language lil missy.'

'Like hell I will! What do you want?'

'Only wanted to confirm that u were comin to the party.'

'I'm not going.' There was a long pause before he replied.

'Im pickin u up at 8. Meet me at the end of ur block.' His green dot that confirmed he was on disappeared and Jessie gaped at the message. She scowled and logged out.

"So... Did Daddy see you escape?" David grinned to himself as he drove his black car down an old dirt road.

Jessie was jumping her seat from all the bumps and turns. "Why yes... He did... Now will you slow down!" She gripped the arm rest attached to the door for support as she watched the illuminated trees pass by in flashes.

David grinned as he slammed on his brakes and Jessie jerked forward, grunting as the seatbelt suffocated her to sit back again.

Jessie scowled at him after her heart slowly turned to normal, "What the hell is wrong with you?!" David began laughing at her, making her blood boil further.

"Nothing's wrong with me." He pressed his foot gently against the gas pedal and the car started forward at a pace that Jessie could agree with. "Now... Your father was ok with this party after all?"

Jessie sunk back into the seat with a small sigh, "No... He doesn't know I'm going... He think's I'm at a last minute sleepover at Maggie's..."

"Oh... I see."

"Yeah. I had to call and talk to Maggie to convince her." She thought back to how she had acted that afternoon and she closed her eyes.

Her eyes flew open as the car jerked and she braced against the car for support. David's eyebrow twitched as he muttered, "Damn rogues..." He slammed on the brakes for a second time and Jessie could just barely hear the familiar growls of werewolves. It was always more unique than a regular wolves.

David stepped out of the car and looked around with a low growl in his throat. "Climb in the driver's seat and drive on without me. Keep going straight till you see a large house full of teenagers throwing up all over the front yard. You seriously can't miss it."

David slammed the door shut and turned around toward the dark woods that the light from the car couldn't reach. Jessie's breathing was rapid as she scrambled over to the driver's seat and buckled up, a habit she would obey in the most intense situations.

She glanced once out the window to see David on the ground shifting to a furry wolf. She watched as several other wolves emerged from around trees, stepping into the light to growl at David. One looked up into her window and she squeaked as it snapped it's jaws at her, lunging forward as if to break through the window. She squeezed her eyes shut expecting the worse. She opened them again when nothing happened and saw David fighting with the wolf.

She turned away not wanting to see anymore of the frightening scene. She slammed on the gas and she didn't care this time about the bumps and turns. She only wanted out and into safety.
