Chapter Twenty Two

Chapter Twenty-Two:

 

Nagising ako dahil sa ingay na narinig ko sa kusina, when I got there I saw Dayne cooking breakfast.

"Gising ka na pala, gisingin mo na rin si Rain. Kakain na tayo, malapit na to."

I cant help myself, Nalulungkot ako to see her like this.

Pero wala naman akong magawa dahil kailangan ako ni Rain sa mga oras na to.

I wrapped my arms around her.

I can smell the scent of her perfume and shampoo...

"Sorry kung kailangan mo pang gawin to." I said in my lowest tone of voice.

She just brushed my hands away and I saw her smile....in pain.

Nakikita kong nasasaktan sya. Alam kong may magagawa ako pero...

"If Rain saw us, im sure mamamatay yun sa heart attack." Tapos tuluyan na nyang inalis yung pagkakayakap ko sakanya.

Sakto namang bumaba si Rain from our room.

As we eat, there's nothing that you can hear but silence. An awkward silence.

"I have something to ask." The silence broke when Rain started to say something.

Nagkatinginan kaming tatlo.

"Im just curious, Maid ka ni Zildjian dito but I wonder why your closet is on his room. Hindi ba dapat nasa room mo yun?" -Rain.

"Ahh... Its j..just that.." nauutal na sabe ni Dayne.

"Its just that when she came here wala syang pwedeng paglagyan ng gamit nya." I said to cover up.

I saw Rain raise her eyebrows.

"Aaaah. Is that so? What about now? Wala parin ba? Sa laki ng bahay na to walang ibang closet?"

Rain is acting very weird. Nahahalata ko na ang pagtataray ng tono nya kay Dayne.

No one answered her questions so she gave us a deep sigh.

"Eh, kung andito na ko? As Zildjian as my boyfriend. May rights naman ako para ipaalis ang gamit mo dun diba? Besides, maid ka lang naman dito." Rain said as she raices her eyebrows FOR THE SECOND TIME.

Dayne started to glare at her.

Knowing her, hindi lumalaban si Dayne but she have her limits...

"Excuse me?" Dayne asked with crossed eyebrows.

Rain started to finish her food as she says "Yes, you may excuse." and pointed the kitchen. Parang sinasabe nyang umalis si Dayne sa harapan namin.

Dayne started drinking her milk and head towards the kitchen with her sad face.

I know why, because Im not protecting her from Rain.
