Miss Me?

A/N: Sorry for the inactivity! But my birthday was May 23rd y'all and I'm finally 14. 😛

Jazmine woken up from a nurse telling her she could go home. Huey and Riley were there bright and early in the morning to take her back to their place, he didn't trust her being by herself any longer. "You happy to be going home Jaz?"

Jazmine nodded, looking up at her boyfriend and her brother figure. "Riley?"

"Yea?"

"Where's Cindy?"

"She lives in her own apartment."

"Why don't you live with her?" Huey chimed in.

"We're planning on it." Riley chuckled. "Then we get to do some stuff."

"And that's where the conversation ends." Huey muttered.

When they arrived at the house, Huey carried Jazmine inside and took her upstairs, tucking her into his bed as gently as he could. "Huey?" Jazmine said, looking up at him with her glossy emerald eyes.

"Yes Jaz?" He looked down at her, seeing how glossy her eyes were becoming.

"Please don't leave me." She said, tears rolling down her soft caramel skin. She held onto his hand, refusing to let it go. Afraid if she fell asleep he'd leave her. Just like her mother did.

"I won't leave you." Huey said firmly, sitting beside her on the bed.

"Promise?"

"I promise." He leaned forward, kissing her forehead and holding her close to his chest until she drifted off to sleep. Unfortunately that promise was broken.

Huey stood outside on the hill, he felt bad for sneaking out of the house to come to the hill. His haven. But he missed seeing the city lights glimmering in the night sky, seeing the stars twinkle so beautifully as the cold wind blew through his afro. Suddenly, he could hear rustling in the leaves above him, he turned his head quickly. "Who's there? Show yourself now!"

There was more rustling in the great oaks leaves, he was shocked when he saw a figure jump from the branches. "Miss me Freeman?"

That voice.

Could it be?

"White shadow." Huey said through gritted teeth.

"Ah, you still remember me. Good to see you my friend." Shadow smirked, looking at him.

"What the hell do u want from me? I thought you said you'd leave me alone!"

"Oh Huey, I meant what I said. I'll always be watching you." Then with a snap of his finger, more men appeared before everything turned black. Huey woken up, the next morning. He looked around frantically, he was still on the hill. That only could mean one thing.

Shadow went to the house.

With all his strength, Huey sprinted down the hill and to the house, busting the door open and lunging up the stairs and into his bedroom. "Jazmine. JAZMINE!"

He saw blood, he followed the trail with his wined eyes until he saw a body.

Her body.

"JAZMINE!" Huey screamed, running to his girlfriend.

"Jazmine, wake up."

"Wake up Jazmine!"

"JAZ!"

Huey woke up, breathing heavily as he looked down. He was in bed, Jazmine still asleep on his chest, her bandages still wrapped around her. It was just a dream.

"Huey..is everything okay?" Jazmine said, waking up slowly.

"Yes..everything's fine." He reassured her with a kiss to her cheek. "I'm okay."

"By you're breathing heavily. And you're sweating. What happened?" Jazmine said with a concerned look.

"It was just a dream. That's all." He said, sighing in relief.

"Oh. Do you want me-"

"Shh. I'm okay Jazmine. Go back to sleep." He said pressing a finger on her lip, indicating that she should be quiet.

Jazmine nodded slowly, falling back to sleep a few minutes later. Huey couldn't help but look around. He saw a note on his nightstand, he leaned over and picked it up reading it. His eyes widened as he stared out the window.  The note read:

"I hoped you missed me, Freeman. I'm ready to play a little game.
                                 -W.S."

No.

It can't be.

It was just a dream.

Right?
