"I see you're awake," Shadow started, watching her vent out her frustration as she was strapped into her chair, struggling to get free.

"Why the hell am I here?!" She screamed, thrashing around in her seat.

"I'm here to give you a reality check," he chuckled.

"Do you even know who I am?"

"A stupid stupid man," Jazmine spat.

"Ah, but you see, it is you who are stupid. You see my beloved Jazmine, you believe people love you. They don't. Everyone that claims they love you and will always support you, they leave,"

His tone of voice was so dark and menacing.

"That's not true," Jazmine defended. "What makes you think that?!"

"You'll see for yourself," Shadow said with a dark grin, taking a helmet and shoving it onto her head as quickly as he could, the helmet granting Jazmine with the ability to see how fucked up her life really was.

Derek's abuse towards Jazmine flashed in her head, him beating her over and over again causing the Mulatto to squirm in her seat.

The day Sarah left her, and told Jazmine she meant nothing to her came up next. The tears strolling down her cheeks as the air got thicker around her.

Huey disappearing from Woodcrest came shortly after, seeing her depressive stage intensify as the image of her dying father came. Hearing him gasp for air as he took his final pain filled breath before flatlining in front of her.

"Make it stop," Jazmine pleaded, tears strolling down her cheeks as the images played over and over again. Reality settling into her mind.

"Make it stop!" Jazmine said a little louder, screaming to the heavens as she felt the atmosphere get tighter and tighter till the point she couldn't breathe.

"STOP!"

Shadow finally removed the helmet from her head, a satisfied smile on his face as he saw the sweat and tears roll down her face. "I'm glad you now see what your problem is,"

Jazmine looked up at him, breathing heavily and unsteadily as the pain collapsed into her chest.

"You care too much, for a world that cares too little."

"Riley." Cindy shook her boyfriend as he slept in such an unusual position on the couch.

Eventually, he woke up.

"Huh? What?" He said groggily, dried drool shown at the corner of his lips.

"Wake up, Huey wants to see us," she said, walking around the corner and out the front door.

"I'm glad someone finally chose to woke up."

"Shut up, punk." Riley growled, rubbing the back of his neck tiredly.

"Why we even out here? It's too damn bright,"

"We have to find Jazmine," Huey said, seriousness taking control of him.

"Are you crazy?" Cindy said, an eyebrow raised.

"No, I'm a determined boyfriend who wants his girlfriend back."

"Well..ain't you kinda the reason why she's gone in the first place?" Riley said, realizing but not caring about the nerve he just hit.
