Huey stood tall, man has the years passed by. Woodcrest hasn't changed much, still looked the same. He didn't want to admit it but, Huey sure did miss Woodcrest. Ever since he left to do the dirty work of what made him look like a murderer, he didn't have any thought of his family or his friends until he remembered the fact he left without saying goodbye. He regretted his decision of leaving without any warning, but he had to. Their lives depended on it. But, he was back now. That's all that mattered, right? Huey walked for what seemed like hours until he made it towards his home on Timid Deer Lane. He hesitated as he stared at his house, questions attacking his brain. Is Granddad alright? Has Riley grown? Does he still have his cornrows? His questions would soon be answered as he gained some courage to knock on the door. Where he was greeted by a yell on the opposite side of the door.

"Boy! Open ta door!"

"Aight damn!"

"Watch yo mouth!"

It must've been Granddad and Riley. Who else could it be? Huey snapped out of his oblivious state and glanced at the brown skinned boy in front of him. He was tall, around 5'11-6'0 at least. His cornrows were down to his shoulders, and his muscles were somewhat matured, and his eyes were a deep blazing wine red color. Just like his own. At first, he thought he was staring at himself. A twin. The silence was broken when the old man approached them. "Boy, who's at ta-"

He paused, looking at the boy in front of him. "H-huey?"

Huey nodded.

Granddad hobbled out of the house with his cane, Riley standing there watching. Granddad wrapped his arms around his grandson, who he assumed was dead. "You actually came back."

Huey hesitated, looking at the old man who's gray hairs were getting grayer. "I did."

"Why did you leave? Was it because of me? Boy where'd you go for all these years?" Granddad said, releasing very few tears he's meant to shed for years now.

Huey shook his head. "I can't tell you now. Only when the time is right."

Granddad wiped the tears off his eyes before releasing his grandson. "Alright boy." And without another word he walked back into the house.

Huey then stared at his brother. Before he could say something there was a burning sensation by his jaw. Followed by blood in the corner of his lip. Riley has punched him, which really is what Huey expected.

"How dare you." He said harshly.

Huey said nothing, just awaited the hurtful speech he was about to receive. Or so he thought. Riley just shook his head, glaring coldly at him before stepping inside the house. Huey wiped the blood off of his lip and walked inside, not another word being said.

Sorry it's so short, I didn't know what else to write but the next one will be better, I promise!
