You know about shooting stars, 11:11, wishbones, and eyelashes? Could you guess how they are related to each other? Do they ring a familiar sound to your ears? If they do, then you must have also believed in the power of wishes. Yes, wishes are very powerful, indeed.

It's also possible that a wish of yours has come true even once. You know that feeling of having a wish granted? It always feels nice, doesn't it?

It's like a long wait has finally come to an end; something that was once just in your heart unfolded into a scene happening right in front of your eyes. What was once a fantasy running in your mind has actually become a reality.

But, most people think that not all wishes can come true. For them, at times, what we wish for could not be possible.

At least, that is what we think, which can also be the reason why we choose not to believe in them. What good will it bring to believe in something that does not exist?

But, though we may have put in our minds that not all wishes can come true...

.

.

Most of the time, all we need is to keep believing that our wish will, someday, come true.

"Time to shine!" shouted a young boy upon waking up from his afternoon nap. He eagerly got up and fixed his small bed. Then after doing so, he dashed to the bathroom to get ready for his daily routine.

You see, this boy made it a routine to go to the beach everyday. More like, every night, before he went to sleep.

His mother was at the kitchen, preparing food for him to bring while he's out of the house. She made some bread and put in with some cheese and milk. It's what the young man always wants to bring in his daily adventures to the beach.

After taking a quick shower, the boy immediately got dressed then went to the kitchen, where his mother was at. He sat down at their modest dinner table, where his mother gave him a plate of rice and some fish, a very simple dinner.

"Eat up, young man, or you'll get tired before you even get there." his mother said to which he nodded to before gobbling up his dinner.

He finished his meal then went to clean his plate. He's such a kind child, always doing his own chores. After doing so, he hurriedly approached his mother.

"Eomma! Can I go to the beach now?" he asked his dear mother.

His mother, sensing the look of adoration in her child's eyes, answered with a gentle nod which earned her an excited squeal from her son.

He put on a bandana, a covering for his head since he was going out at night. His mother gave him the basket of food, which he's always brought, every time he went out to the beach. He took the basket and slipped on his sandals, kissing his eomma on the cheek.

"I'll be going, bye eomma!" he exclaimed while waving his hand that wasn't preoccupied with the basket. His mother smiled and waved back at him.

As he joyfully skipped away, his mother gazed at him lovingly.

"Take care, Jungkook."
