"Eomma! Eomma!" a young merman called his mother. As he approached the throne room he caught the attention of his mother who was busy inscribing something into a stone tablet.
"What is it, son?" his mother asked, full attention on him.
He sighed before telling his mother what happened.
"Taehyung has found his human!"
With this, the queen gasped. She didn't expect it to happen so soon.
"How did you know?" she asked her son in disbelief.
Jin decided to tell his mother the whole story.
"Taehyung went to the surface, Eomma. He told me that he left his necklace somewhere at the shore so he went to get it back. But when he was about to get it, he saw someone pick it up before he had the chance to do so. He said it was a human, and he told me he felt drawn to this person, like they have a bond, I'm not sure." he narrated what happened.
"Hmm," his mother thought about everything that is happening for a while. After doing so, she has finally come to a conclusion.
"Son, please make sure that you keep him safe, alright?" she said while ruffling his older son's hair.
The 13-year-old merboy did not quite understand, but he swore to protect his younger brother at all costs.
