*~Thirteenth Wish~*

"My name is Taehyung."

Jungkook, who was currently awestruck by the mythical creature in front of him sat there, mouth agape after hearing the other's name.

"That's- that's an awesome name!" he blurted out all of a sudden.

Taehyung was at first surprised by the sudden declaration then chuckled at the younger's actions.

"You're an interesting human, Jungkook. I admire you." he said.

Upon hearing this, the human blushed to the ears. As if he was having enough of the embarrassment, he opened his bag in hopes of finding something to distract the other from teasing him.

"Um.. uh.. look at this!" he squealed as he took out the first thing he got out of his bag.

His extra underwear.

"Of all things, why this?!" Jungkook cried inwardly as Taehyung looked at the object with eyes wide as saucers, taking it in his hands as if it were made of glass.

"What's this, Jungkook?" Taehyung asked in awe.

"That's.. my underwear." Jungkook sighed.

Taehyung's eyes went impossibly wider as he looked at the object in awe. He examined the object with curiosity and a flushed Jungkook behind him.

"How do you use this, Jungkook?" he spoke while raising the other's briefs, Jungkook then grabbing it from his grasp.

"It's what I wear before I put on my pants." he replied.

"Ooh, what are pants?" asked the merman.

The younger smiled at the other's curiosity and took his hand. He brought it to his own pants and said "these are pants".

The other squealed in delight but suddenly he brought his hands underneath the other's pants and inspected it, bringing his hand as far it can go.

"What in the— Taehyung what are you doing?!"

"What's under your pants, Jungkook?"

"No, stop! Take your hands off!" he slapped Taehyung's hand away, the other flinching as he did.

"Why?" the mer asked.

"It's made to be covered by pants so, no more, okay?" he squeaked.

"Okay!" Taehyung replied with a thumbs up. "Show me more, Jungkook!"

The human scoured his bag for more interesting things and introduced almost all of those to the very curious merman. It was until the sun has finally set and it was getting dark when Jungkook stood up and fixed his things.

"Where are you going, Jungkook?" the merman queried, slight sadness lacing his tone.

"Sorry, Taehyung, but I need to go home now. I wish I could spend more time with you, you see I've always wanted to see you in person.." Jungkook trailed off,  worried about not seeing the other ever again.

He bent down to grab something when Taehyung cupped his face with his large hands. He put his forehead next to Jungkook's, the other flinching in surprise then blushing in embarrassment. 

"Jungkook.." he uttered.

"I will never leave you."

"Um.. o-okay Taehyung.." Jungkook stuttered nervously.

"I will be here for you tomorrow, Jungkook." he said, still holding the other's cheek.

"Thank you Taehyung, you'll never know how happy you made me today."

"No, do not ever thank me, I wanted to do this."

"Oh, okay sorry.."

"And do not say sorry too."

"Why not? Then what should I say?" Jungkook said while pulling away, confused.

"Hmm." Taehyung looked up in thought. "Say 'okay'!"

Jungkook chuckled at the other's cuteness. "Okay." he said with a smile.

"We are friends now, right? You do not need to apologize or say thanks."

"Yeah, friends." Jungkook grinned widely but was cut off by the other going a bit too close.

"I love you, Jungkook."
