Chapter Quatre

Hyun Jae's POV

I ran into the dorms past two of my band mates huddled together in a serious conversation. I felt them staring at me, my face heated from what had happened in school. I slammed the door and jumped on my bed, trying to crawl under my covers, my heartbeat rapid.

Does Yoongi like me?

I try to throw that thought out of my head. We had dated for a week a year ago and he broke up with me. I had a crush on him and he let me go. It can't be the other way now. Can it?

I get out my phone, thinking of texting Jin, since we are close and he can read others' emotions well.

Hyun Jae: Yah Jin

Worldwide Handsome: Excuse me?

Hyun Jae: How are the members doing?

Worldwide Handsome: Call me oppa first

Hyun Jae: I'll call you hyung before I ever call you oppa

Worldwide Handsome: Fuck you.

Worldwide Handsome: But go on.

Hyun Jae: As I had asked, HOW ARE THE MEMBERS DOING???

Worldwide Handsome: Why are you so curious to know??

Hyun Jae: Jiminie doesn't seem to be eating well

Worldwide Handsome: Really

Worldwide Handsome: I'll be sure to stuff food in his mouth during dinner

Hyun Jae: Good

A loud knock on the door disrupts me.

"Hm?" I say. Not entering, I hear Soomi my bandmate softly ask,

"Have you seen the news?"

I think about what she could be talking about in particular, but say no when I can't pin it down.

I hear a bit of shuffling and sense that she's gone.

Welp I guess I'll be checking the news later?

Hyun Jae: How's Yoongleboongle?

Worldwide Handsome: YOONGLEBOONGLE

Hyun Jae: I've never actually said  that to him. Don't tell him I said that.

Worldwide handsome: 😏😏😏

Hyun Jae: KIM SEOKJIN I SWEAR

Worldwide Handsome: He looked happier than usual coming back from school, do you have something to do with that?

Hyun Jae: He was literally ignoring me yesterday DAFUQ YOU MEAN HOE

Worldwide Handsome: He seemed to be deep in thought and keeps smiling to himself. I swear if there's something going on in between you two again...

I laid my phone on my heart after rereading that text over and over again. Does Yoongi feel the same? I look back at my phone, seeing he has replied.

Worldwide Handsome: I can tell you are blushing.

Hyun Jae: He broke up with me, do you really think he'd have feelings for me?

Jin's POV

Jae: He broke up with me, do you really think he'd have feelings for me?

Ugh if only you knew what was going on. She'll find out anyways. Right?

Having so many conflicting feelings, I didn't realize Jae and I stopped texting.

"HAS SHE SEEN IT!!!???" Hoseok screams practically in my ear, seeing our line of texts. I shake my head sadly.

"I think Yoongi should tell her since it's partially his fault," I say pointedly at the blond sitting in distress on the couch, his face in his hands. He doesn't look up and I bite my lip. If Yoongi doesn't retort, that means that something is wrong. Jimin goes over and hugs his hyung lovingly. I can tell he's whispering words of encouragement in his ears. I hear Yoongi whisper something barely audible that makes me feel worse.

"This is all my fault," his voice cracking.
