How would you feel if someone told you the person you loved the most might die? I think it's better to ask: how would you feel if that person died by your hand? I wouldn't let that happen but of course I may have no other choice. And then the worst of the all knowing that you're mother preferred someone else over her own son. My mind was all over the place right now trying to figure out what's wrong and right. I headed to the institute to try and talk to my dad and see if I could convince them that I wasn't some crazy criminal. I stopped at the gates. Immediately they opened for me. I stepped inside and opened the doors. I lifted my head to look around me only to see hooded figures walking towards me.
"Who are you?" I asked them.
Quickly two of them came and held me by the arms. I didn't move, confused.
"Sean Brewer we have come to take you to the silent city." The tall one said.
"What? Who are you?" now I moved against them.
"We are members of the clave. We have come to take you and interrogate you with the mortal sword."
"Can I at least talk to my dad?" I asked.
"Take him away to the car."
"What? No! DAD! Let me go! DAD!" I kept yelling all over the place but it seemed like this place was soundproof. They dragged me out the door effortlessly.
