Unwanted arrival

When I got to 739 blocks I stopped counting. I didn't know what time it was but I was guessing early afternoon. My stomach was rumbling and my wrists and hands were numb.

"When can I leave!" I yelled.

No answer. God these people have a sense if idiocy. I started counting sheeps to see if I could fall asleep until these dummy's realized I was innocent.

On sheep number 39. I heard a noise. I heard muffled voices and sounds of struggle. Then I heard yelling right outside the door. I sat up and took ahold of the bars.

"Dad! Dad I'm here!" I yelled. It was so dark I couldn't see a thing.

After a last cry the doors opened. The footsteps were slow and heavy.

"Dad?" I called out.

"I really do wish you were my son boy but of course your not. Your abilities are enough to call you my son."

Valentine.

"What are you doing here?" I didn't bother to try and be nice.

"Well I heard you were in here and so I knew the clave wasn't going to play nice so I came and did you a favor." Valentine now stood in front of the cell.

"I don't need favors from you. I'll be fine here on my own. If you see my dad tell him I'm here." I slumped back on the wall.

"Oh I thought you might want to see my daughter when she woke up but I guess not." be turned to leave.

"Wait! Hold on! Goddam you Valentine. So help me if you did anything to her." I got up again.

"So now you want to come, say please."

"You're out if your damn mind if you think I'm gonna beg to you." I suddenly whipped around and kicked the bars as hard as I could. Impossibly they came down. Valentine moved out of the way and looked at me in disbelief.

"How-"

"Don't ask cause I don't even know, lets get the hell out of here." I started walking to the doors.

"Wait let me take off those cuffs. The clave must be up by now."

Valentine came forward and took a key out. Once we took them off he put an iratz over both my wrists. In a matter of seconds they healed except for mean bruises which I guess will stay.

Valentine handed me a sword and we made our way out.

"There's a portal on the other side and we need to get there," whispered Valentine.

I nodded and we made our way down. At the end of the first hall there was a man in gear waiting with a sword. Valentine went at him while I moved in the shadows and went up behind him. I knocked his feet down from underneath him and he fell face first to the ground. Now we ran. We heard people yelling and running. Valentine led the way so I watched our backs. I couldn't believe I was doing this but I had no other choice. I couldn't kill Valentine now.

Valentine tried pushing the doors open but couldn't. I pushed him out if the way. I jumped and held on to whatever was on top of me and I lifted myself up to kick the doors, hard. They both went down and we made our way in. The place was full of clave members but the portal was open and ready. We ran at full speed towards it but they were on us. I tried to just incapacitate them but I think Valentine killed them. I jumped through the portal first.

I landed on a hardwood floor. I sat up and waited for Valentine to show. When he did he had a big gash on his left eyebrow.

"Where is she?" I asked.
