The next day me, Jessica and the Morgenstern's spent the day at the park. We were all dressed in gear and had invisibility runes on us so that no one could see us. When we arrived Jessica quickly got to work.

"Okay, you're less experienced than I am so we'll have to be patient. There are ways of communicating with others the way I did with you. I'm predicting that Valentine gave you everything that I have. Although he's had me for more years than you so there's a chance I have more than you do," she looked at me with stern eyes.

"We already know that you have more speed and strength than the average Shadowhunter so we're going to skip that. Do you have anything that belongs to our dad?"

I was about to say no when I realized that I did. I slid off my ring and have it to her. I heard the Morgensterns shuffling behind us.

"Good. With this ring you should be able to see exactly where he is. It's almost like you're tracking him but this method is more efficient,"

She handed the ring back to me and told me to focus.

"Close your eyes and feel the ring. Touch it and concentrate. Visualize your father, picture him in your mind."

I closed my eyes shutting out the world around me. I closed my hand tightly and thought of my dad. I pictured him as we were before all this happened. I thought of all the good summers we had together and everything we did. I remembered how he talked to me for ours telling me stories of my grandfather and everything he did as a child. I remembered the look of joy on his face when I agreed to train and become a Shadowhunter. I still had the terrible thought of him realizing my mother had betrayed us.

I clenched my hand tighter.

As I formed these images I felt something build within me. My mind gathered all these thoughts and formed them as one.

Blurred images appeared. I thought of him harder and soon I could see clearly.

I saw my father tied up to a wooden chair. He was gagged and his face was very pale. I saw valentine and Stephan hovering nearby.

I willed myself to look outside and see if any that was familiar.

I kept pushing almost until my breaking point.

My eyes snapped open in surprise and anger.

"I know where my father is. He's in North Carolina. He's at my mothers place."

I kept my distance as I followed them to the park. I couldn't tell what they were doing but it looked serious.

I put some else's face on and acted as a regular mundane the whole time. I was lucky it was cold out so I could cover all my runes and I could go on unnoticeable.

It burned me inside every time I saw that girl with Sean. She was standing in front of him holding his hand and saying something to him. It completely angered me that the Morgensterns had accepted that stranger and forgotten about me already.

I pushed my blonde had away from my face and rested my it in my hands. I could feel tears coming but I pushed them back forcefully. I had to find out who she was and try to figure out a way to get her away from him.

I still loved him. I love him but I don't know if I can forgive for what he did. I looked back over and saw that they were gone.

Back at the institute I called Jordan.

"Hey man, long time no hear, everything alright?"

"I know and yea everything is fine. Well maybe just a little different but yea," I said carefully.

"What happened? You sound bad. Are you sure you're alright?"

Sean knew he wasn't alright. He found his father but still had no clue where Alexia was. He was hurting badly and he couldn't move on without her.

Jordan seemed to take the hint, "I'll be right over." The line died.

It was record time when Jordan got there.

Sean hasn't moved since the phone call so Jordan went and sat beside him on the wall.

"What happened?" he asked gently.

"She left me that's what happened," his eyes looked out in front of him blankly.

"Who left you. Alexia?"

All Sean could do was nod and hold back the tears.

"Why? What happened?"

Sean explained to him briefly what had happened in Idris and he finally told him he had a sister. He told him how she was different from all Shadowhunters because of her gifts. He told him how he posses the same gifts and used them to find his father.

When he was done he put his head on his knees and cried softly.

"She left me and she didn't even let me explain." He looked at Jordan.

"And it kills me because she didn't trust me. She just left me." He started sobbing again and put his head back down.

Jordan pondered on all that for a minute and soon began comforting his friend.

"Hey, look everything will be okay. SShe'll come back trust me. Just let her calm down and cool off. She won't stay away forever I can promise you that. She loves you too much to leave you," he said softly.

Jordan stayed with Sean for a few more hours before he left leaving Sean better than he was before.

That night Sean couldn't sleep. He kept thinking of her golden eyes and wondered if he would ever see her again.
