She knows in her heart they were looking for her specially, Alesandra. But all she could do is cry after. She knew she existed and breathed. All she wanted to do was curl up into a ball and wait for someone to save her. - Catalina ♥
Steffan, I know you will find me soon. I love you. You are my lifeline and I will not give up. - Catalina ♥
"Alice, I'm going out and meeting Steffan we will have lunch. I might be late coming back okay." She is happily waving to Alice and went out to the elevator.
"Oh okay. Have a nice lunch. Enjoy your time!" Alice is happy seeing her waving her hands.
Catalina receives the bouquet and when she reads it, she was excited to meet Steffan for a lunch date. She immediately left in her office and went out without Tyler, her driver-bodyguard. She walks into the cafe not knowing what was gonna happen to her. Until it was too late. There were men inside the cafe. There was a little briefcase that dangled at the other man's side, small but most certainly locked. She was debating whether to take a closer look or not when she caught a glint of silver at his waist, she panicked. Catalina is meeting this person and she doesn't know how her life is in danger.
There was a woman on the corner who was dressed like any other she wears casual but smartly dressed in jeans, a hipster jacket, and a neck scarf. Her face was made up, but not overdone and her long black hair was pulled back into a ponytail. And Catalina well, she was doubting how much faith she should put into her eyes, that were quite obviously deceiving her, to judge this beautiful woman. As she approached her, she began to look edgy, staring down at my face. She gasped she look familiar to her. She glanced at the waist of the man beside her, bulging in their pockets. She could tell there was some kind of weapon in there also. Maybe it was a knife or a pistol. She saw everything and when she's about to leave two men are blocking the door. She back away.
"What is going on? Who are you? What do you want from me?" She looks around her.
Then, Alfonso stepped from the shadow, knife unsheathed. Catalina set her face to casual indifference. Her only way out was for them to underestimate her skill level with a gun, to assume her lack of fear came from mastery instead of a raw nerve.
If only I could grab those guns in his pocket...
Alfonso grabs her and pulled her hair. The knife sat precariously on her skin, soft enough to pierce on her neck, hard enough to enforce the intended message. The harsh metal should have been cold and raw against her bare skin, but her numb body could not feel anything except for the excruciating pain. Her throat and heart are constricting and all she could do was stare at the eyes of a man who held her life in his palm and the blade and a terrifying coldness she had ever seen.
"Who are you? What do you want?" The fear traveled in Catalina's veins but never made it to her facial muscles or skin. Her complexion remained the same, her eyes are steady as if she were shopping for shoes.
I won't let this bastard know that I'm scared. Think of a way Catalina! Fast as quick as your hands! She pushed her face closer, her mind ordering her body to fall. But she didn't allow it. Retreat would be a disaster, a show of weakness, an inlet for the enemy to surge through.
Nothing on her face betrayed her fear. Her fear needs an out, but there was a time and a place and sure as hell weren't it right now. She will not back down. She was just waiting for any one of the guy who held a gun to come near her and sure as hell, she will have it. She will fight and kill them all.
"Hello, Catalina..." the woman she saw sitting on the corner. Standing infront of her and she sneered in disgust. She screamed at her and slapped her hard which put a red mark on her cheek and blood on her lower lip.
