Upon arriving at the hospital where Kit works, he immediately went to the counter to find the room of his wife. He rapidly went to the room and upon arriving he saw Beam standing while talking to his phone, he then approach Beam.

"P'Beam, is Kitkat okay?" Beam who seemed surprised ended the call and relaxed after seeing Ming's face.

"N'Ming, Kitty's fine now. You should go inside and check him, but be quiet, Kit is still sleeping." Beam warned and Ming followed.

Ming opened the door slowly and saw Kit sleeping soundly while Pha was just beside the bed, monitoring him it seems. Ming approached the bed and tears escaped his eyes, then he sob silently. Pha patted his back which made him calm down.

"Don't worry Ming, Kit just fainted due to stress and fatigue, it seems he didn't sleep these past 2 days and had not eaten a decent meal since." Pha explained, Ming wiped his tears and softly cleared his throat.

"I'll take better care of him P." Ming smiled at Pha, as of cue, Pha exited the room and gave them space.

After 2 hours, Kit was finally awake due to his sore back, he checked the clock which shows 7 in the evening and starting to panic when he found he was on a hospital bed. His thoughts drifted apart when he saw Ming grunting beside him, sleeping on the couch while holding his hand.

'He must have transferred the couch closer to the bed to hold my hand', Kit thought to himself.

He slowly moved himself closer to Ming and dropped a peck on his forehead, and just like in fairytales, Ming was awaken by that kiss. He turned around and saw Kit staring at him with a flushed face, Ming sat and faced his wife properly.

"Kitkat, you're awake. I'm so happy." Ming said as he stood up and wraps his arms on Kit, Kit returned the gesture and rested his head on Ming's chest.

"I'm sorry, I made you worry." Kit mumbled, but Ming heard it, Ming loosened their hug and looked at Kit's eyes.

"Yeah you did. Don't do it again okay? I'm so worried, everyone too."

"Okay." Kit assured and gave a gentle smile.

"Now, let's go get dinner, I know you're hungry and you need plenty of rest." Ming help Kit get up and encircle his arm on Kit's waist and guide him to the door.

As soon as they're back at their house, Ming assisted his wife and went immediately to their room. He helped Kit get ready for bed and gave him enough sleep to replenish his strength. Pha told them that Kit will be having an afternoon shift tomorrow and could have plenty of rest the whole morning, in which both of them were thankful for.

And after that night, their lives went on normally.
