Years passed since I've known the existence of Phana Kongtanin, aka P'Pha. I haven't really spoken to him since I've had a crush on him. I know some people despise us omegas but I'm glad my family didn't, you could say I'm the luckiest omega. My family didn't feel embarrassed about my gender, and they were not hiding me from the world, unlike other omegas out there.

Both my parents worked hard for society to accept omegas, just like me, they defended the rights of omegas. My mom even died protecting it, carrying it even to her death. So now, the society accepts us, some doesn't, but atleast omegas have freedom just like other genders.

Omegas have what they called 'heat', just like the women have monthly bleeding or period as what they call. This 'heat' is the most dangerous time for both omegas and alphas, pairings and conceiving of child is usually done during this time. We omegas usually take medicine when this happens, we make sure to carry it inside our pockets or bags whenever we go, unexpected circumstances may arise and we need to prevent or stop the dreadful events that may lead to it. The 'heat' usually lasts for a week, but depending on the type of medication taken, it could minimize to couple of days or so. The stronger the medicine, the less days for the omega to suffer, but it will cost a lot of money for the medication alone. Since I'm rich, not to brag, my heat usually takes around 2-3 days only.

Putting all those aside, P'Pha was in his last grade and he will be graduating along with his friends. I've decided to put some effort and encourage myself to talk to him some time.

Right now, they are going to have a mini competition with another school, and I would surely not miss it. I was pacing back and forth inside an empty classroom with my bestfriend Ming, I was so helpless not knowing what I would do to capture P'Pha's attention, not that I would seduce him and such, but talk to him atleast. I kept on pacing thinking of a way to deal with my problem, when Ming got irritated and slammed the chair next to his and stood up, making me halt from my steps.

"Yo, you're making me dizzy. What's wrong with you?" He asked with a hint of irritation.

"I want to talk to P'Pha, but I don't know how." I said while bitting my nails, his face soften and came close to me.

"They'll be having a game this afternoon right?" He asked, I just nod. He should know that by now, I've been blabbering about it for a week now.

"Why don't you give him a towel, or refreshments, or a water perhaps?" He suggested, making me smile.. wide and beam with excitement.

I hugged him and said, "You're a genius Ai'Ming! Thank you!"

He just laughed at my remark and patted my head.

In just a few minutes the game will have a break, and the second half will start. Of course, P'Pha's team is leading, as he was on his way to the bench, I started walking to him, timidly. Ming have to push me to get over my nervousness, I decided to man up and walk towards him, slowly. He was on his way when girls started bumping me and went to him, cheering like crazy, his fan club perhaps? I paused, loosing all my energy, after all, Phana Kongtanin was out of my reach. I just stood there, soulless, but then Pha emerged from the crowd and stood in front of me, he halted his steps and looked directly at me. I felt my cheeks burning, I return his gaze, feeling the temperature around me increase.

I slowly moved my hand holding the water bottle offering it to him, he look down and then look up again, looking at me. I tried to suppress a smile, I heard him clear his throat then went past me. I just stood there frozen, didn't expect the reaction, but then again. He's Phana Kongtanin after all, an alpha.

I retreated my hand and bowed my head, I don't think I could show myself to him due to embarrassment. I went to the table where Ming is seated, still holding the bottle in my hands. As soon as he saw me, he stood up and patted my back, I placed the bottle on the table and went on. Ming was just beside me, being silent while patting my back, which I'm thankful for, I lead him to the clinic, I think I just need to sleep, and maybe I'll forget about this incident, I thought to myself.

I told Ming my plan, and he reluctantly agreed, he said that I should get over with it and try to do other things to be noticed. I just shrugged his suggestion and went inside, there's no one inside and the person in charge is a close friend of mine, I chose a bed and slept on it, and soon after, I drifted to sleep.

Waking up to a silent surrounding, I sit up straight and decided to call my dad to fetch me. Upon reaching my phone which is placed on the table near me, I saw a note under it. I opened it and saw a word.

Sorry

That one word was written, who could have written that and placed it under his phone? He wondered.

As soon as I left the clinic, I looked for Ming and gladly, I found him immediately. I showed the note to Ming, asking him if he was the one who wrote it, Ming replied that he didn't, which put us both to wonder who could have done it.
