"Really Yo?! You were chosen to be the Moon of your faculty?!" I shouted while being astonished at my bestfriend as I'm sitting across from him, eating our snacks. Woah! I still can't believe my 'ugly' bestfriend was chosen to represent their faculty at a beauty pageant, more of a beauty pageant for me.

"Yeah. I can't believe my friends and classmates nominated me for that position, and won the preliminaries!" Yo responds as he's looking exhausted while drinking his pink milk. I just laugh at his statement and patted his back gently.

"Oh my dear bestfriend, I wonder how you won. Did you guys draw lots or something?" I teased as he looks up at me and send deathly glares along the way.

"Shut up!" He hissed then went back to drinking his pink milk. What a surprise Yo, what a surprise! Or maybe you'll be surprised when I deliver the news tomorrow. *laughs silently*

"Anyway, do you want to watch my race later?" I ask a I peek at his reaction, and as expected, he started jumping up and down his chair unable to control his happiness and eagerness.

"Really?! Sure! I'd love to come! When? Where is it?" He asks eagerly. Sheesh! This poor kid looks so excited mentioning about race. However that is Yo's reaction whenever I invite him to watch my race, all the time.

"Around 9 in the evening at xxxx street." I replied uninterested. He jumps again and smiled widely, then continue drinking his pink milk.

At the location
Wearing my mask and my outfit on, I approach my friend who is busy chatting with my cousin, P'Korn.

"I'm ready P." I announce as both of them look at me with amusement. Yo gave me a thumbs up as he sits at the chair near P'Korn's gang. Yo is treated as if their queen by P'Korn's gang, and of course, they don't dare touch him or lay any hands on him, afraid of staining their queen. Plus all of them, including P'Korn and I are overprotective of him, one fact regarding him being an omega, but mostly it's out of brotherly love.

"Well, good luck on the race N'Ming, I heard your opponent is hardcore like you." P'Korn stated forming a smile on my face, finally! An opponent who is on the same level or better than me. It's been long since I've encountered those types. Nodding my head at him, I move closer to the track and started wearing my protective gears, gloves, elbows and knees.

Once done, a shadow can be seen approaching me and I glance up to the direction, there is a man walking towards me, with his friends on both sides.

"Good luck on our race Ace." He announce as he hands his hand waiting for a handshake, mocking me aye? I shake his hand and look at his eyes. Cold and fierce, totally a perfect opponent for the night.

"Oh, by the way, I'm Forth." He added making my right eyebrow rise. Not to sound rude, but he's getting comfy around here, and we just met! To top it off, he's my opponent for this damn race!

"Ace." I replied shortly a he gave a smug smile then climbs at his motorcycle, so does I.

Our race for tonight is a motorcycle sport. (Not sure if my term is right)

We started our engine and do a sound exhaust for our moto then position ourselves on the starting line. Wearing my helmet, so does my opponent, we grip the hand grip tightly as blaring sounds can be heard coming from the engine, along with the crowd cheering for us competing.

After a while of doing sound exhaust, a girl holding two flags, one on each side, stood in front of us. She ask if we're ready using the flags as no word was spoken. She then raise the flags above her head as she glances at us one more time.

Gripping the hand grip tightly making booming sounds, I prepare for the flags to go down as I prepare my heart for another exciting race. Once the flags were down, I speed my way in the road bypassing thousand of people witnessing the race, my opponent follows behind me then I started speeding up once again.

I'm taking the lead as of the moment while Forth is just a meter away from me. Turning my moto at a certain degree as we took a u-turn at the corner, I was caught off guard when Forth's moto suddenly jumps at the back and nearly touching my head. Now he's the one taking the lead as I try my best catching up to him. I click my tongue in excitement knowing it'll be a close match between us both.

Finally catching up to him as we're speeding off side by side, our motos are just a meter apart from crashing each other and only inches forward from each other every now and then. Sometimes it would be him who takes the lead, sometimes I, but it's hard to tell since it's a close match between us both.

Only meters away and we could finally see the finish line! I grip the handle tightly releasing a roaring sound as my moto full speeds, and noticing Forth does the same. After a minute or two, we finally arrive at the finish line with an unknown result and a very close match result.

Taking my helmet and protective gears off, the referee announces that the race is tied. For the first time since I have competed that I tied with someone else, I've only won most of the time and admit defeat around 3-4 times.

Moving away from the motorcycle and walking towards Forth, I held out my hand as I wait for his reply.

"Nice race back there." I complimented as he handshakes my hand and smiled at me.

"You're not too bad yourself." He uttered and release his hand. I walk back to P'Korn and Yo's side.

"That was so cool Ai'Ace!" Yo complimented as I approach them, I smiled at his statement which can't be seen since it's hidden by my mask.

"Good job N." P'Korn taps my shoulder and gave a proud smile. I started walking away from them and to our place, followed by Yo.

"What's the name of your opponent? He's super cool you know!" He jumps excitedly while catching up to my pace, I then roll my eyes.

"Forth." I uttered as we reach the place where the other members of gang are waiting.

"Oho~ his name is cool just like him." Yo added with a big smile on his face. P'Korn's gang congratulated me and I turn to a corner to change my clothes.
