Forth

I immediately blasted my bike after hearing what Pha had said. I was lost in the thought for a moment back there, but now I'm hesitating whether to go inside the hospital or just go back to the campus, but my heart and my mind isn't at ease knowing Beam's condition. So after finally calming my self down and taking another lungful of air, I walk towards the hospital with a plastic bag on my hand, containing some food and fruits.

Once the elevator dings, I immediately hop out then went to Beam's room after asking the information desk to his room number.

Breathing another lungful of air, I knock at the door softly, patiently waiting for someone to open the door. I faintly heard some conversation with grumbles..? And as soon as the door was open, Kit looked at me groggily and irritatedly, then he change expression as soon as he realize it was me.

"Ouh, hi Forth! What are you doing here?" He asks probably surprised to see me here. I smile at him and reply.

"I heard about Beam's condition because of Pha, and I'm just visiting." I said while raising the plastic bag in my hands, he nods at my explanation then push the door open, allowing me to enter the room.

I immediately spotted Beam sitting looking uncomfortable and on his way to recovery. I release a sigh of relief knowing that he isn't as pale as he was the last time I saw him.

Forcing myself to approach him, I gave him a genuine smile and stop just beside his bed.

"Hi Beam, how are you?" I ask while looking straight at him. His fingers fidget and he hesitantly look at me, I can't decipher his expression, but all I know, there is a hint of pain and sadness in those eyes.

"H..hi... Forth.." He stutters and I can't help but worry, something is off with him.

"Hey, you okay?" I ask as I rub his back. He took a lungful of air and smile at me.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Sorry about that. I was just surprised." He admits, a little blush crept on his face, making my heart flutter a little.

"Well, we were kinda worried so they wanted me to check on you. I think N'Ming and N'Yo will be visiting you with Ai'Pha after their practice." I hope he doesn't suspect anything behind those lies. He smiles gently and looks down, moving his thumbs in a circular motion.

"Here, I brought you some food and fruits, I hope you like them." I offered him the plastic bag and he smiles happily once again.

"Thank you, how did you know I like fruits?" He asks looking at me, bewildered. I smile to myself due to my stalking skills.

"Wild guess? I just knew that you weren't eating your meals properly, so maybe some fruits would help." I lied once again, he drops his gaze and stare at the plastic in his hands.

"I see...." He mumbles, which I can hear clearly.

"Ehem!" Kit faked to cough and that captured our attention, I almost thought that we're alone in the room.

"Sorry to disturb you two. You seem to have forgotten about my presence here." He grumbled and I just chuckle at his antics. I glance at Beam and saw his face flustered red.

"Shut up kitty!" He exclaimed. Kit just laughs at us while holding his stomach.

"Sorry na~ Anyway, do you have classes after this Ai'Forth?" Kit asks and I know where this is going.

"No, I only have morning classes for today." I said telling the truth.

"Uhm~ I have a favor to ask." Kit hesitated, and I smirk at myself internally.

"Sure! What is it?" I ask, a grin forming my face.

"No Kit! How dare you!" Beam yells while pointing his index finger to him.

"Yeah, can you babysit Beam for a while? Just till this afternoon. I still have 2 more classes to attend to, please~" Kit clasps his hands together and putting a pleading look. I glance at Beam and he is furiously blushing, so cute na~

"Sure I don't mind." I respond while adding a shrug for after effects.

"Thanks Ai'Forth, I owe you a favor." He said while hastily packing his things.

"I hate you Kit! I'm gonna murder you later!" Beam screams once again after seeing Kit ran and open the door.

"I guess you'll be stuck with me then." I said whilst chuckling, he tries to avoid my gaze and that action made him more cute.

Spending time with Beam really is the best feeling I've ever experienced since meeting him. The whole afternoon was fun, we chatted and joked for some time, getting to learn about one another, story telling etc. One word to cover it all, it was ecstastic. Kit showed up late in the afternoon, after that both of them bicker and tease each other, it was just like watching a free comedy drama. After a while, Kit had to go out to buy some dinner for the 3 of us, leaving me with Beam, again and alone. *smirks*

I saw Beam trying to stand so I ought to his side and help him, then all of a sudden, the door opened. Ai'Pha, N'Ming and N'Yo are standing there, looking confused.

"Hey...." I trailed while helping Beam to stand.

"Sawadee P'Beam." Both of the nongs waied at him, I glance at Beam and he is blushing, imma say he's shy about earlier.

"How are you Beam?" Pha asks as he steps forward and help Beam to stand up.

"I'm fine, wait here, let me use the comfort room first." He said, and with that cue, he lets go of our hands and walk to the comfort room. I watch him till he close the door, then look at my side and saw Pha glaring at me.

"N'Ming, N'Yo, I'll leave you guys with Beam first. Ai'Forth and I need to talk." He said with a stern voice and walk out of the room, I sigh before following him afterwards.

We are currently in a vacant hall, he suddenly turns around and crosses his arms, sending daggers at my way.

"Ai'Forth, tell me honestly." He paused for a while and I have to wait so he could continue, but no words came.

"What..?" I ask.

"What do you think of N'Yo." He shots the question, and I didn't expect any of that.

"Uhmm." I hesitated. "He's cute, and stuff."

"Cut the crap Ai'Forth." He suddenly barks, making me flinch a little.

"Fine, I like him." As a brother, more like a sister. I noted in my mind. He huffs then put another stern face.

"What about Beam then?" He questions while raising an eyebrow. I love him, he's my fated pair. But I know I can't say it in front of him.

"What about Beam?" I ask back, he still looks at me sternly, before he answers my question.

"I know there's something between you two, like you're hiding something from each other, or even us. I know I don't have any right to interfere, but fix your problem with Beam, I don't want my friend to hurt again and again." He said, and after that he walks past me. But before he completely disappears, he announced something.

"And also, stay away from Yo. You can't like him, he's my fated pair." And that made me utterly shock, I knew Yo loved someone from the start, but I guess fate is playful huh? Guess I won't interfere.

I now have a bigger problem to deal with, what can I do so Beam will notice me, and probably acknowledge me as his pair?
