wednesday-four days before winter break.
train station

now that you feel it, not pretending actually made you feel like shit. it made you feel faker than before. it is probably by the fact that yesterday is not your actual personality. your real one are still hidden far away deep in your guts. you've decided to just went off to school like normal. and guessed it, pretending to not know about yesterday. saying you were actually not at school yesterday and just pretend you don't know shit and left everyone confused. yes, perfect plan. you even edited and made a few proof, just to add the fun.

waiting for the train to come, you fiddled with your hair for a little. it is already late, and you probably wouldn't make it to school on time, but that fact will only support your plan. so you let it. finally, after waiting for minutes, the train came. waiting for the door to open and letting all the passengers made their way out first, you hoped in exited to see the confused face of everyone.

-

"I'm so sorry, i'm late!!" you barged in the classroom. all eyes have theirs on you, either with disgust or confusion. aizawa looked at you, not surprised that you're late. it's not that you are always late, but yesterday you said you took the last train home, and that train are late in the midnight.
"how's your newly born brother?"
aizawa asked, you internally smirked, he only helps you.
"ginger hair! just like father. he is very cute i must say!" you chirped happily, while the others are a bit shocked. they wouldn't have expected you to act this way, remembering yesterday's event. you seated yourself on your seat, smiling happily while a soft breeze made it's way to you.

the lesson goes by quickly, and you, too busy admiring your own plan. just then, a loud bang was heard near you, making you flinch and let out a small squeak. it was mina, banging your desk. seeing it was just mina, you let out a sigh of relief. "hello mina-san." you greeted. but her face was dark, and her eyes are covered by shadows. "please say you are joking" she pleaded. you internally laugh, seeing the reaction just as you pleased. quickly you cover your face with a confused expression. "what?"

"we're friends, right?"
"of course! what makes you think otherwise??" you put on your best clueless face.
"then what about yesterday?"
she gritted her teeth, anger filling up inside of her.
    "i...d-don't know what you mean"

"DON'T PLAY DUMB!... just please..."
you flinch at the high volume of her voice. again, tears swelling up in her eyes, ready to fall any second now. "m-mina, why are you crying?!"
"WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS?!!"
"you broke my heart (y/n). i always thought you are my safe place. but you shattered it, that... easily..."
this is a response you don't expect.
"y-yesterday? i-i'm...not here..." you mumbled, only she can hear you. her eyes shot up as you looked at her sympathetically. for a second her tears stop falling, the water fall stop. you frown a bit, you wanted to see that beautiful waterfall again.
"b-but, you're there! before homeroom! then you ran away!!" she grabbed your shoulder and inched closer to you, forcing you to take a step backwards. you shake your head, denying her statement.
"i was at kyoto, visiting my new brother." you told her.

she looked at you, long. her eyes scanning for any lies detected. but none. you are too good at lying.

"what?!" yaoyorozy momo, shouted in your ear, making you instinctively cover your ear and flinch.
"y-yee...?" you let out a weird sound. sounding like yeah without 'ah'.
"t-then... who's ... yesterday..." mina quickly wipe her tears and mumble loudly, looking around the class as if there's a clue taped on the wall. all students watch her and you, looking at what just happened and what did you say to make mina like this.

"what... did i-i do yesterday?"
you nervously asked anyone, as rain started to pour from above and you had a pained expression. "you're...acting strange." ochako said approaching you warily.
"you even killed a butterfly!" she said with fear in her eyes hugging you tightly. she was relieved you are back to your usual self, but yet. she can't shake off the tingling feeling that something is lurking.
