The Wedding
Her feet is feeling heavy as she watched her bridal entourage. It is a scenery she never expected to happen -or maybe she did expect it at one point but lose all hope to achieving it with this person.
"Not sure if you know this, but when we first met. I got so nervous, I couldn't speak. In that very moment, I found the one and my life has found its missing piece....."
It was her turn to walk down the aisle and she was completely mesmerized after hearing that familiar voice. The same voice that comforted her when she was completely lost in love. It was not the choir who was singing but rather, it was no other than the special person she holds in her heart.
"So as long as I live I love you, will have and hold you. You look so beautiful in white. And from now to my very last breath this day I'll cherish, you look so beautiful in white. Tonight. What we have is timeless, my love is endless, and with this ring I sing to the world... You're my every reason, you're all that I believe in. With all my heart I, mean every word"
A tear escaped her eye. Tonight is a mixture of emotions, a complete hurricane of sadness and happiness. But it wasn't the kind of sadness that will drag you down the earth. It was a sadness that can be accepted, a sadness that happens every now and then to some unfortunate people. However, she knows it is in the matter of acceptance rather than mourning. On the other hand, the happiness she feels is overpowering the sadness in her heart. The feeling was hard to explain. It is truly true that you will never exactly know how it feels until you are finally in the very situation.
"This is it." she whispered to herself.
She smiled to all of their guests as she walked slowly. Embracing the scent of the fresh flowers and memorizing those perfect smiles from her friends.
"So as long as I live, I love you. Will have and hold you. You look so beautiful in white. And from now to my very last breath this day I'll cherish, you look so beautiful in white..tonight.."
Then she finally reached the man that will forever be her half. She smiled dearly to Tommie and he smiled back at her. He was wearing a blue tux with a gray accent and he was handsome as ever.
"Always beautiful, mine." he whispered and gently planted a kiss on the back of her hand.
Everything was surreal. It was happening in a way she never imagined. All is at place and everyone seemed happy.
"Are you ready?" he asked in whisper.
She nodded and smiled. "Ready as ever" she answered.
"Then let's go to the most awaited part of your wedding." he smiled dearly. It was a gentle smile and it was a smile that she will surely treasure in her heart for all of her days.
