Francisco's POV:
When Elizabeth is done eating her burger, she slouches back into her chair and groans while rubbing her stomach.
"That burger wasn't even that big, can you stop exaggerating?" I tease as I dip one of my fries into the ketchup and stuff it into my mouth.
"It was a double double, Fransisco!" She whines as she screws her eyes shut.
"Oh shut up, I ate that and I'm still hungry," I say as I eat another french fry.
"I think you're the one who's gonna get fat," she teases as she sits up straight with a small grin on her face.
"I wanna get fat," I joke as I wipe my hands clean with a napkin.
She looks down at her hands and smiles slightly. I can tell she's thoughtful. I hope she can get rid of those bad thoughts towards me. I'm not the same kid anymore, I've grown. Somewhat. I know it was extremely immature of me to bring up the toilet thing because clearly, it's a sensitive topic for some of the guys. I thought they were all past that.
"Are you in a hurry to get home?" I ask after a moment of awkward silence.
"Honestly, I'm not," she chuckles lightly as she looks up at me. I smile at her and stand up, grabbing the tray as she follows behind me.
"Where do you wanna go?" Elizabeth asks as I throw away the trash on the tray and place it over the trash bin.
I look behind me and she's so short, it's really funny. I smile at her and she smiles back, "I wanna take you somewhere you've probably never been to."
"Okay then, surprise me," her smile grows as we approach my car. She's so pretty.
Elizabeth's POV
We've been in the car for more than fifteen minutes, and we haven't spoken. The music on the radio is loud enough to avoid any communication between us. Even though we aren't talking, it's not awkward and I like that.
I start to notice that we are no longer around houses, and we are surrounded by green grass and tall trees. It's no longer raining, and the sun is slowly coming out. I love the view. He drives up the small hill and I'm afraid that the car will roll back. His eyes are so focused on the view in front of him as he speeds up. He's gorgeous.
Did I just call Francisco gorgeous?
"What?" His voice cuts through my thoughts. I refocus and he's looking back at me as the car slows down.
"Nothing," I shake my head as I look out the window.
"I know I'm cute," his laugh fills the entire car and I love the sound of it. I join him and watch as his eyes squint as he licks his lips.
"If you say so," I shrug, seeming unaffected that his words are matter-of-fact true as I take off my seatbelt.
"Okay, come on," he says as he opens his door and climbs out. I follow after him and wait for him to adjust his pants. Apparently, they get stuck to him when he sits for too long.
"So, what's so cool about this place?" I ask as we begin to walk towards the trees.
"Well for starters, you're the first person I bring up here," he says as he slides his hands into his front pockets.
"I don't believe that," I roll my eyes. I truly don't believe him.
"Well believe it sister," he says as he begins to twirl his key chain around his index finger.
"Are you going to kill me?" I joke as I kick my feet through the big grass.
"I might," he chuckles as he walks closer to me.
