The Only Reason

I knew it.

He had done it again.

Ashton finally got bored of me and went for some other girl. This was the third time this week and I can't seem to control the tears that were raining from my eyes down to my cheek. I just don't understand why he would do such a thing.

I was sitting on my bed when my phone vibrated.

Hey Lil I'm sorry for what happened tonight. I promise I'll make it up to you. Meet me at my place at 3ish tomorrow? Ash xx

Ugh. I would give up anything in the world to not see the look on Ashton's face when he opens the door to me saying "Lilly! Come in to my house of doom where you might possibly get hurt again when I cheat on you for some slut."

I hated him. But at the same time I loved him. It was confusing.

"Knock knock." Someone said.

"Alex! How'd you get in here?"

Alex was a close friend of mine that I considered dating a while ago before I left him for Ash. I tried to forget about it but the memory was drilled into my brain.

"It was unlocked so I figured you wouldn't mind if I came in." He snickered.

"So whatcha up to?"

"Trying to get over another breakup with Ashton." I said trying to hide the tears.

"Why do you even consider dating him after he's hurt you so many times? He obviously doesn't deserve you if he's treating you like this."

Alex was always there for me.
