Liz's POV

A soft breeze. Honking cars... The damp scent of ally way trash...

Liz's eyes snapped open. "Ash!?" she croaked. Concern for her sister spilling into her voice. Silence. Liz made to sit up, then tensed. She whipped her head around, only to see...Her sisters limp body, was curled around her. Ash's arms were loosely wrapped around her, and her tail was coiled loosely around her waist. Her legs were tangled with hers. She was as limp as someone who was..."No..." Liz whispered. She moved to her knees, and pulled her sisters limp form to her chest. "Ash..." she whimpered softly. "Ash, wake up.." Nothing. "Ash, please, don't-don't do this to me!" Her voice cracked, as tears rolled down her green cheeks. She whimpered again, and-clutching her sister's limp form to her chest-she rested her chin on Ash's head. The distinct scent of cinnamon filling her nose, as she began to rock slightly. "N-no...Ash...Please...Don't leave me alone..." Quite. Silence. The seconds slithered by. More agonizing silence. THUMP! THUD! THUMP! THUMP! The sound of four heavy pairs of feet landing behind them reached her ears. Yet she did nothing. Nothing mattered anymore... Her sister was limp, in her arms, barely breathing, with WHO KNEW how many internal injuries. Liz wasn't strong enough to carry her and run, let alone leap rooftops at the same time. Ash was probably dying, and there was nothing Liz could do for her. She cried, clutching-clinging-to her sister, desperate for her to sit up and smile at her. For her to sit up and smirk, and toss her a signature wink. She wished with every fiber of her body for Ash to sit up and say,"Ha! You should know by now that I'm way too stubborn to die!" But Liz knew...Oh, she knew that wasn't going to happen. That was a what...twenty...thirty foot drop? And Ash had taken the brunt of the fall...for her.... Liz finally looked up, and her eyes locked with Donnie's deep brown eyes. She hissed, and recoiled, wrapping herself protectively around Ash. Dying or not...She wasn't going to give up on her sister... Never... She bared her sharp teeth angrily. "STAY BACK!" she snarled. Her eyes narrowed to two thin slits. "You'll have to fight me to the death if you want to get to her! And even after death-I WILL HAUNT YOU FOREVERMORE! WE-" her angry words increased in volume, until she was practically  screaming at the four male mutants. Mikey watched, terrified, from behind his l=elder brothers. She knew they were related, she could see the similarities. Raph finally started to shout back at her. "WE AREN'T GOING TO KILL YA! BUT YOU TOO MONSTERS ARE WORKING WITH SHREDDER!" That did it alright. "MONSTERS!? You DARE! SHREDDER is the true monster! You have the audacity to attack us, without even asking if we worked for him or not-and then you HAVE THE GUTS TO CALL US-MONSTERS!?" she roared back at him. His eyes widened, and he even took a step back. Leo hesitated, before moving forward a few steps. "Wait...So...You aren't...working for Shredder?" Liz rolled her eyes in exasperation. "NO! WE'RE NOT!" Leo was silent, then, Donnie spoke up. "I-I'm sorry..." he whispered. His eyes were fixed on Ash's limp form. For the first time Raph seemed to notice Ash's limp body, and his eyes nearly popped out of his head. "I-is she..." he began, seemingly unable to finish. Liz said nothing, and stared down at her sister's body. Donnie took a step closer. "I..I can help you..." She snarled at him, and seemed to recoil from him further. A look of intense sadness was etched into his adorable features as he watched her. She hesitated, and searched his face. her eyes met his. A pause, then: "Can you...save her?" she practically whispered the words, hardly daring to hope. Donnie nodded, and moved forward again. She hissed softly, and he stopped. "Please," he begged, concern audible in his voice, "I...I can save her...but only if you let me..." He took another two steps, and when she didn't react, he cautiously moved closer, before kneeling beside her. "....save her...please...I don't want to be alone..."
