JUST IMAGINE THE SKIN IS GREEN.

Ash blinked as Liz moved towards her grinning, and holding out... "SILVER!" Ash cried out, her eyes crinkling as she grinned, and her eyes sparkled while her face light up with delight. Liz laughed as Ash took the silvery bow in her hands. Ash held the bow close to her face, and inspected it closely. "...What are you doing?" There was a slight pause, before Ash looked up at her. "Just making sure that they didn't do anything to her..." Liz frowned. "Ash..." she murmered, placing a gentle hand on Ash's shoulder. Ash blinked, before she smiled. "So they...actually trust is enough to give us back our weapons!?" Ash exclaimed in surprise. Liz rolled her eyes. "Clearly." Suddenly, Liz pounced on her and started tickling her sides.

Ash yelped in surprise as the pair tumbled onto the ground in a twisting, laughing, and hysteric heap of green limbs. "LIIIIIIiiZZ!" Ash shouted through her laughter. "N-HAHAA! NO GGHHFF! FAIR! YOU-AHAAHAAA!" Liz grinned mischeviusly. It had been so long since the pair of them had been able to have a  moment like this. Shredder had never let them have anything even remotely close to fun. The closest thing to fun for them was training. But that wasn't fun at all. Shredder had run them into the ground with his brutal methods.

Suddenly, Liz froze. Ash frowned as Liz crouched, and turned her head slightly to see what had unsettled her sister. Her amber eyes widened. 'HUMAN!' Fear had flashed through her, before she had rolled upright, and crouched next to her sister. A red headed female stood there in the entrance of the lair, staring at them with wide green eyes. Her bright yellow shirt glowing against the darkness of the tunnel behind them. Ash narrowed her eyes at the human, and felt Liz move closer to her. Instinctively, Ash moved closer to her sister as well. She felt Liz's side pressing against her own. Liz released a hoarse whimper. 'How? How did this human find...' "April!"

Mikey's cheerful voice rang out across the lair, startling the two poor mutant half-sisters. Ash yelped and Liz shrieked. The two clung to each other, and sat there trembling nervously. Eyes shifting to and fro across the room. "April" made her way cautiously into the lair. "Hey guys, who are they?" "April" asked. Ash hissed as "April" neared them. Liz snarled warningly. April stopped. "Guys?" A slight pause, before Mikey had appeared, followed by an irratated Raphael, and happy Leo. Ash perked slightly at the sight of Raph, and when his green gaze had met her amber one, the two had blushed slightly. Leo glanced down at the two mutants, before he cleared his throat awkwardly. "Um April, this is Liz and Ash. They...were forced to work for Shredder, but they managed to escape, and we've taken them in." Then Mikey eagerly jumped in. We've been hang'n with them for like a week April! They're cool!"

Then, Liz had lunged and Ash had charged.

Fierce snarls filled the air.

Alarm flashed through Leo, WHOAH! WHOA! ASH! Liz! Calm dow-" "HUMANS!" Ash snarled. Liz hissed angrily. "Humans are bad! They hurst, hate, they bring pain!" Leo and Donnies eyes softened. "...You've never experienced kindness from humans, have you?" There was a tense pause. Then, "No..." Ash replied, though she was hesitant.

"April" cleared her throat. "Um, I'm April O'Neill..." She cautously extended a hand. Liz and Ash recoiled instantly and hissed aggressivly at her. "Easy Ash..." Raph murmured. Ash's eyes flicked up to his. Their gazes met, and Ash seemed to relax slightly. The pair slowly lowered their weapons, and Liz was the first to slowly, hesitantly move forward. Ash only followed to protect her sister. Ash met April's gaze coldly, before she sloely took April's hand, and watched as April flinched from her practicaly crushing  her hand in a handshake.
