(Oh wow, technology time in PE is making me more motivated *cough* bored *cough*, so I'm writing more. Yay! Also, I literally referenced a song in the first sentence of the actual chapter, 10,000 awesome points to the person who guesses it right. I did change a word, but still.)

The warm summer shone through the window, illuminating Braden's brown hair as he happily texted the being known as wonder boy. Braden knew better than to assume that Elijah was his soulmate, but that didn't change the fact that he had a crush on him. Something felt different when Braden was around him, even though he had just met him the week before. He smiled as he got a response to the question he had just texted.

"Wanna go out for coffee this afternoon?"

Elijah couldn't help but squeal when Braden texted him this question. He had to like him back if he was asking him out on a date! Elijah leaned back down on his bed, sighing contentedly, the warm rays of the sunrise lightly illuminating the room. It was almost 7 in the morning, and Elijah had never been this happy.

It was almost 3 in the afternoon as Braden rushed to get ready. He had fallen asleep soon after texting the details to Elijah, and he had nearly forgotten all about it the entire day until now. He ran out of the house and to his car, driving just barely over the speed limit to the coffee shop right outside of the neighborhood. When he got there, Elijah was already waiting for him, smiling warmly. Braden flushed from embarrassment, also partially because Elijah's smile was really cute.

Elijah calmly walked to the coffee shop, hands in the pockets of his jacket. It was only 2:30, but it never hurt anyone to be early. Besides, he was usually late to things anyway. When he got there, he sat down at a table outside, near the entrance and waited. When Braden did get there, it was 3:01. Elijah smiled at him warmly; Braden flushed and Elijah giggled. "You're late by not even 2 minutes, sit down!" he said cheerily with a small laugh, patting the seat next to him. Braden smiled sheepishly, sitting down next to the slightly smaller of the two.

(I'm guessing Elijah is smaller than Braden, I don't actually know. Also, oof, Elijah is too pure for this world; I don't know how to write characters in character! Love at first sight is also a really weird cliché to me, but it doesn't really matter. It's also too fluffy, I suck at doing that, sorry. I'm gonna go write angst now. >:D)
