Kimberly's POV
I went for my last period, when I got A text from Jacob to meet him outside, and Sasha at the back of the school, I wondered what are those two up to, as I headed for the main door. It was so weird, when I got there, I saw them Sasha looking so confused.
"Hey guys, what's up what are we doing here" I said giving them a straight look
"Its Jacob his glowing, look" revealing Jacob, who just came out from behind
"O. M. G this is, glowing really, how come, does it really happen or first time" I asked suddenly confused on what we're going to do
"I don't know Kim, but am confused what should we do,no one can see me like this" Jacob came at me
"Okay let's go to my house, am sure they'll ring the bell in any minute, we'll just check some books in my house, to see what's wrong" I suggested, the bell immediately rang and we made a wall around him, then we proceed walking home, he was still glowing but, this time even shinier I must say I found it mesmerizing, something about it I can't put my finger on it. We got home and I was lucky mom and dad weren't around, they went out so, we ran to the library as I checked the shelf, until I saw this interesting book I really don't know, but we had a lot of books in my house about supernatural creatures, strange right, not new to me.
It was titled "mystical beings" I showed my friends and, they where like "no his not mystical Kim, so another"
"Let's just try it could be our only chance, what do you think Jacob" I asked at him pouting my lips
"Sure why not" he replied uninterested, we opened the book as we flipped through, it had a lot of contents fairies, mermaids,Vampires,troll,pixie and all that, but we couldn't jump into conclusion and all those things didn't exist, definitely all rumors and myths.
Then we saw a chapter titled signs you're not human, we all laughed before checking it, We saw a lot of signs and we even saw Sasha's water nightmares, it concluded she might be a mermaid, "yeah as if" we just laugh then we finally saw glowing pausing for a minute, we all looked at each other then I read it out loud
''It was said, if a person starts glowing, eye colour changing and all that then there's a 90% chance you're a witch or wizard"
"That's crazy, let's just forget about it am sure am normal ok, gotta go" he then ran out
'Why did he run out like that, its strange Sasha don't you think hope his okay" I said worried
"Am sure he is well, gotta go see you in school tomorrow and, don't forget after school tomorrow we going out" sash reminded me
"Sure how could I forget" I smirked at her before she left, leaving me in this dark empty house. Can't wait for tomorrow.
Kaitlyn POV
Well school was annoying had all the subjects today, I couldn't wait to go back home, I quickly left school and headed home.
"Poppy tell me something,why did my parents leave me" I said Almost teary
"I don't know kait, the only person who can answer that question for you is them" she told me in her very tiny little voice, I try to pretend to be okay but, I was heartbroken I don't have friends and for some unknown reason, my parents left me life was hard, maybe it's me right, dragging my feets I went to my room and, was reading, then I decided am gonna leave this place this house, maybe even start a new life, tomorrow then its settled, I suddenly screamed in excitement, waking poppy up.
"What are you thinking of Kaitlyn" poppy asked startled, always cute when she does that
"We're leaving, tomorrow" I simply replied
"Really to where" curiously asking
"Its a surprise poppy a surprise" I said proudly, even I didn't know yet
"I can't wait" she responded
"Well me neither" as I fell on the bed
