No tears left to cry

"It'll be nicer here. My Mom and Dad can provide for you and Charlie properly." I glare at her. "It was none of your business." She blinks back tears. "I can't feel sympathy for you." I stand up. "I can't believe I kissed you!" I rush out of there. Charlie is stacking blocks accompanied by Wynter and Brynn. "Sissy!" Charlie smiles. "Charlie." I sit down next to him and practice breathing exercises. 

In, out, in, out. 

Robin hears my heavy breathing and rushes over. "Do you need to see the doctor? You've been through so much stress." Robin's voice sounds faint and far away. Soon the room is black, or maybe a really dark purple? It's awfully serene and I feel faint and weak. 

Diana's POV

I want to strangle myself for turning Rowen's mom in. It was just so hard seeing her struggle through life, and I figured Mom and Dad could provide better. I straighten out the bed cursing under my breath. "Diana! Watch Brynn and Wynter AND Charlie! Rowen fainted." Mom screams. "What!" I jump off my bed and rush out. "Just do it!" Mom's carrying a limp Rowen out the door. Charlie starts crying. "Sissy?" I feel so much stress and sadness and anger. I quickly quiet Charlie and help him and the twins back to their game. 

For a while, I just sit there and play with them. I want to cry but I can't I feel like a total trash bag worse then I've felt in a while. 

Back to Rowen...

I wake up in a hospital bed. "Rowen?" Robin greets me back to. "Robin?" My voice shakes. "You're OK. The doctors said it's just the whole situation. You can come home after they take some blood." She squeezes my hand. "Charlie?" I garble. "He's fine, Diana is taking care of him and the twins." The doctors then come into the room, "Ahh, your awake." They then stab me with needles to take my blood I shudder slightly.

Robin helps me out to the car.

As we drive back we start a friendly but cautious conversation. "How long were we there?" I ask. "About four hours," Robin responds.  "We were there awhile!" I exclaim. "We were, but you know hospitals like to make sure your fine before you leave." We get back to Robin's and I suppose my apartment. Robin helps me up the stairs and into the apartment. "Rowen!" Charlie rushes to me. "I was so worried!" For a little guy, Charlie can be so thoughtful.

After I eat a little bit of dinner and sip my water Robin ushers me to Diana's room. "Diana?" She looks her in the eye. "Yes, mom?" She looks like she'd been crying. "You sleep in the sleeping bag, Rowen needs the bed." Diana complies and goes over to the sleeping bag. "Could Charlie share the bed with me? It would be comforting to have family around." I mutter. "Sure," Robin leaves to go get Charlie.

Charlie jumps into bed with me and then clings to me. I wanted Charlie so that I wouldn't have to worry about Diana talking to me. And I'm right she leaves me and Charlie alone. I realize just how sleepy I am and I fall asleep easily.
