Gay Blush

The next day Robin says she's going to excuse me from school so we can go shopping. I'm a bit shocked because I wouldn't expect her to do that. I get ready, hug Diana goodbye as she goes to school, and help drop Charlie, Brynn, and Wynter off. 

The lady at the daycare is named Mary Bell, she's an old lady with round spectacles. "Hey, Wynter! Brynn!" She beams at them. She doesn't seem as happy to see Charlie and just says a polite hey Charlie, the protective sister in me kicks in and I clench my fists. Robin notices and grabs my shoulders, "thanks for this Mary." and steers me out of there. When we get in the car I do my breathing exercise. "Mary has known the girls from the day they were born, she doesn't know Charlie whatsoever. I'm sure she'll get used to him soon." I shake my head, "what if she doesn't? Charlie is so important to me. And I don't want him staying with someone who picks favorites." Robin looks straight ahead. "If he complains or if I notice this behavior from Mary more I'll take him somewhere else." I nod and then we silently drive to the mall.

"So if you see something you want don't hesitate to ask." Robin leads me into the mall. I nod awkwardly. Mom never took me to a mall, it was always goodwill. And if I'm honest goodwill has some great articles of clothing.  "How about forever 21 first?" I've never heard of that shop so I just nod. She brings me into the shop and tells me to look around which I do. The nice thing about my body is I'm average everything, average height, and average weight so it's fairly easy to find stuff that fits me. I see a ton of revealing clothing and I shudder. I see some denim shorts and grab those. I see a palm tree crop top and grab that as well, the design is cute and it's one of the less revealing items.

"Here I found some pieces that would make Diana blush." Robin chuckles I blush at the revealing clothes that she holds out. "I see you found some stuff... Cute!" She then shoves me into the changing room. I'm surprised at how well the revealing stuff looks on me, if I was more confident I would wear this stuff. Robin oos and ahhs at everything.

"I like these," I hold out the palm tree crop top and the denim shorts. "You have a great figure and I want you to show it off! Get at least one of the outfits I picked out." Robin doesn't like to hear no so I don't argue. "Fine. I'll get this short skirt and this tank top." I shudder. "You never have to wear it." She then takes me ALL over the mall we end up with quite a few more outfits, hair ties, and two sunglasses. 

"It's two," I eye the clock. "Yes, it is. Shopping takes forever! Would you like to stop for food?" I shake my head. "Charlie doesn't like staying later than he has to at Mary Bell's daycare." Robin nods and we pull out of the parking lot. Charlie never told me that but I assume he doesn't. 

We pick up Charlie, Brynn, and Wynter and head back to Robin's house. Diana is sitting on the couch headphones in her ears and lipsyncing to music. "Diana honey! Rowen wants to show you her new outfits." Diana pulls out her headphones and smiles. "Sounds great." Robin then pulls out the tank top and short skirt. "Since you won't have time to show them all, just show her this." I want to scream but instead of screaming I grab the outfit and head to the bathroom. I'm glad Robin supports our relationship but does she understand how insecure I am? I pull the outfit on and sob a little. I pull my hair up into a bun using the hair ties we got.

"Rowen..." Diana blushes a bright red. "You look... gorgeous." Diana pulls me back into our room. "Wow." I blush. Elliot peeks his head into the room and sees Diana and me blushing.

"GAY BLUSH!!" He yells. "Charlie!" Diana blushes even deeper. "Gay blush!" He runs down the hall yelling it. "Shhh, Charlie!" Robin yells after him. "Sorry," Diana sighs as she shuts the door. "I explained to him our relationship yesterday and... Um." Diana awkwardly explains.

"Gay blush!!"
