Chapter 12

In the living room Robin and the triplets sat on the floor while Robin showed flashcards to them.

"What color is this?" Robin said holding up a Purple card.

"Purple!" The triplets said.

"This color!" Robin said holding a Brown card.

"Brown!" The triplets said.

"What's this color?" Robin said holding up the Purple card again.

"Purple!" AJ and Keyon said. Serena squinted and frowned.

"What's wrong Serena?" Robin said.

"I see that card already." Serena said.

"I know, I was testing you." Robin said.

"Mommy why we going to kagarden?" Keyon said.

"Kindergarten, and I have to take you all there so you can all learn." Robin said.

AJ's head was down and his chin pulled in, "Mommy, is kagarden the doctor?"

Robin brought AJ to him and said "No, it's where other little kids like you are and you eat snacks and play and read books."

AJ smiled and said "Ok."

"I wanna stay here." Serena whined, whilst slamming her tiny legs.

"You can do that when me and your father take you here." Robin said.

Serena folded and turned her body away from Robin.

"Awww Serena...I don't care." Robin said.

Robin stood up and walked to the bedroom and saw Amir putting cologne on.

"You ready?" Robin said.

"Robin, I gotta go to work early." Amir said.

Robin's eyes went wide and his mouth dropped open "Amir I need you to do this with me and the triplets and I know AJ's gonna throw a fit when I leave him there."

"I'm sorry Robin, they called me ten minutes ago." Amir said.

"Amir. This isn't going to take 15 just help me do this, they need both of us. Do you even care?"

Amir's eyebrows were low and he said "I want to see myself how superior my kids are compared to the rest but I gotta work my way up, and network at this job."

Robin rolled his eyes and Amir hugged him but Robin was stiff in his arms.

"I smell good?" Amir said with a grin.

Robin's face hadn't moved and Amir wiggled his ears and Robin laughed. "Don't do that again, you'll summon a gale-force wind. I hate your ass."

"You can't resist me." Amir smiled and went into kiss Robin.

Robin stopped Amir placing his index finger to Amir's forehead and said "I thought you had work?"

"So I can't get a kiss?" Amir said.

"Guess not." Robin said.

Amir thrust his head past Robin's finger to kiss him but got scratched.

"Ow!" Amir said.

"Muthafucker you trying to bend my finger back!?" Robin said.

"I was trying to be cute." Amir said rubbing his forehead.
