The final bell of the day rang. Marking the end of classes for the Christmas break. Students flooded out the doors of Blackwell Academy. The sky was grey as snow lightly fell from the sky.

Out walked Max Caulfield with her bag wrapped around her shoulder. She stopped and looked around the white campus.

Wowser. Winter is so beautiful. If only it wasn't for the minus thirty degree weather, it'd be the perfect season. Well, aside from fall of course.

"See you after the break, Max." Kate said as she walked by. Max smiled and said, "Bye, Kate." Kate smiled at Max and continued down the snow covered campus. Max smiled happily and breathed deeply through her nose. She sighed and adjusted her bag on her shoulder and started making her way through campus.

And sitting out by the front steps was the familiar rusty truck of Max's rebellious blue-haried girlfriend, Chloe Price. Who typically had her feet kicked up on the dashboard and smoking a cigarette. Chloe took notice of Max and smiled at her. She pressed the smoke against the door and opened it for her approaching girlfriend.

"Hey." Max greeted and pressed a kiss to Chloe's lips. "How was school today, hippie?" Chloe said. "Boring as always." Max told her. "Mr. Jefferson wouldn't stop talking today. I dozed off several times." Chloe chuckled. "Dude, I'd be out like a sleeping baby." She said. "Well, you're my baby." Max said. "Damn right." Chloe replied with a wink and drove off from the academy.

"So, we're going to check if you have everything packed at my place, then we're gonna go have some hella fun before you leave tomorrow." Chloe said. Max smiled. "Okay, sounds good. What kind of fun?" She asked. "I don't know. You'll just have to find out. Let's hope step-douche isn't home yet." Chloe said. "He won't be for a while. He's busy at Blackwell." Max told her. "And Joyce is at the diner." Chloe added.

She grinned at Max. "So that means we have the house all to ourselves." Chloe said with a hint of tease in her voice. Max rolled her eyes. "If you think you're getting laid, you can forget it." She said. "Oh come on." Chloe said and hit Max's arm. "We both know you want me." She said. "In your dreams." Max replied. "Oh, I dream about it all the time." Chloe told her. Max let out a laugh.

"God, there's no stopping you." She said. "Never, Maxine. Never." Chloe said back and continued onward to her house.

"But seriously, Max. I just want to hang out with you today. Because tomorrow I have to send you away."

Max gave Chloe a soft expression. "I'll be back soon enough, Chloe. You can count on it." She said. "Just come back this time, okay?" Chloe said. "Oh Chloe, you know I will." Max told her.

Chloe smiled. "Good. Because you can't escape me forever." She said.

"Nope. Even if I tried." Max said. The brunette watched as the snowy Arcadia Bay whirled on by as Chloe drove through the white streets. Although she was anxious to leave Chloe the next day, she was excited to see her parents. It has been too long since she last saw them. And she knew that she'd see Chloe again once she came back. Max looked at her rebellious girlfriend and smiled.

Chloe is so wonderful. I hardly recognized her when I saw her at Two Whales with Warren a few months ago. Her punk style wardrobe, blue hair. I think that's what makes me so crazy about her. She's so different. But yet, she's also just so beautiful.

Chloe pulled into the driveway and cut the engine to her truck. Max unbuckled her seatbelt and followed Chloe to the door. The warmth of the house quickly hit Max as they entered the house. "So where's my stuff?" Max questioned. "Relax, Max. It's all in my room, just where you left it." Chloe assured. They walked up to Chloe's room and opened the door.
