King Of My Heart

I woke up with birds chirping on my window and Joe by my side. We've been together for almost a year. It's September that's the month of our anniversary the 28th of September (authors note (; see what I did there back to the story) I didn't know what to get him. I think until I feel him putting his arm over me.

- Morning-he said in a deep morning voice.

-Good morning to you too. Should I go make breakfast?

- You don't have to I'll make it you stay here- he said while getting out of bed and heading to the kitchen.

Joe's POV

I went downstairs to the kitchen to make breakfast. I turned up the stove and got the ingredients. I was going to make french toast and English tea w/ milk. I put the water for tea in a kettle and sit on a bar chair. I put my hand in my pocket and pull out a little box. In the box there was a ring that I was going to propose to Taylor on our anniversary date in two days. I hear Taylor coming down the stairs so I quickly put the ring box back in my pocket and start to put food on the table.

Taylor's POV

I came downstairs and saw Joe putting breakfast on the table.We sat down and start to eat our food. I looked at the calendar and it was 26 of September already! I was freaking out in my mind what on Earth should I get him?!

- Are you okay?- he said while chuckling- you zoned out for a bit are you feeling well?

- Oh yeah I'm ok. I was just thinking what to get you for our anniversary.

- Taylor you don't have to get me anything I don't need anything to make me happy the only thing I need is you.

- I know but I have to get you something I mean it's a one year anniversary one year.

- No, don't please don't I've got you a present but it's kinda for both of us just please don't get me anything ok?

- Ok but next year I'm gonna get you two gifts

- Ok,ok- he said while laughing.

28th, September

Today's our anniversary. We're going to a restaurant. We started to get ready. I've put on a blue dress and black heels with a little bit of blush pink lipstick.

We got to the restaurant. We reserved a nice little private table so nobody botheres us. We ordered our food and talked.

- Happy anniversary love!

- Happy anniversary!

Joe seems more nervous than usual but I just shrug it off.

Joe's POV

We ate our and continued to talk. I hoped she wouldn't notice that I was nervous. She was so beautiful and I was literally sweating. I figured it was time to propose.

Taylor's POV

Joe suddenly paused,took a deep breath and said:

- Taylor you walked into my life a year ago,and I didn't know that you will change it so much and make it so much better. I am so grateful for every single moment spent with you. - he was talking and I started to tear up.- I love you so much and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. To spend every day with you and to wake up with you every morning- oh my God is this really happening. He got on one knee oh my God.- So with that said Taylor Alison Swift would you marry me?- I was feeling dizzy and so happy out of my mind.

- Yes,yes,yes,yes!!!- I literally screamed and hugged him. He put the ring on my finger and kissed me. After an half hour we went home and layed on the couch. He put his hand around my shoulder and hugged me pulling me in closer. We watched TV and fell asleep.
