it was yet another lazy Saturday for me and daniel, and i had made plans to sit on the couch all day in my sweatpants, enjoying the end of my 8th month of pregnancy.
I told daniel we could post mate a meal, but he insisted he would go out and grab some things to make me a nice meal. me being extremely hungry, told him to shop as if he was cooking for a family of 5, ensuring my hunger would be no more.
I now sit, watching another stupid love movie i have seen a billion times, eating whatever i found in the cupboard that i saw fit as a nice movie snack.
after about a hour or so, daniel stumbled into the house, carrying at least eight bags of groceries, the keys dangling from his mouth, his wallet just barely in his back pocket.
"let me help you." i say, getting off the couch slowly.
i walk over to where daniel is grabbing half the bags and carrying them to the kitchen setting them on the counter, that daniel had just cleaned. i was going to clean it, but daniel wouldn't let me.
after i put the last bag in my hand on the counter, i turned around to start prep for dinner as daniel isn't the most organized in the kitchen.
suddenly, i hunch over as a huge pain occurs, causing me to cry out. daniel rushes to my side, and is panicking.
and then it happens. one strong pain, and a liquid runs down my legs.
"dani we are gonna have to put dinner on hold, because my water just broke."
